Check in your firmware to see what your minimum extrusion temperature is set at (by default it is usually higher than 200) also don't forget to use the other forum languages:by diytechshop - General
Interesting, you might want to put that down on the wiki page: also a link to the specific one you used would be helpful since there can be such large discrepencies between different brands.by diytechshop - General
It certainly looks awesome, though some more info as to what it actually is might be helpful.by diytechshop - General
It has definitly been used, check out the wiki page for more info: As for free samples you'd probably need to check around locally.by diytechshop - General

Hello Reprappers, for the whole month of August our i3x and xl printer will come with a free 1.75mm, 0.4 hotend and also free shipping in the US. Also keep an eye out for our next line of 3D printers coming out in the weeks to follow.by diytechshop - For Sale
It's probably an issue with your thermistor, I have this same issue when the thermistor comes loose from the hotend. Also try measuring the power output to the hotend if it isn't a mechanical issue.by diytechshop - Printing
Try adding M106 S255 into the start Gcode in Slic3r, that should guarantee that your fan will start.by diytechshop - Printing
Your arduino is fried no two ways about it.by diytechshop - Printing
Did you try adjusting the power on the stepper driver? That can cause some strange noises.by diytechshop - Printing
To translate for greenman100 poison and fire. Also not all ABS works well at high temperatures, if you want a good baseline for printing 240C will get most ABS out of the nozzle safely.by diytechshop - General
There are no changes necessary as far as I am aware, you just need to set the bed temp to 37C instead of the usual ~100C.by diytechshop - General
Hello Snails, to answer a few of your questions: To convert the sizes find a current BOM: for the Einstein, sustitute #4 for 3mm and #6 for 4mm and convert the lengths. With those sizes everything should work pretty well. Also if you need metric rod or bolts locally I would definitely suggest Fastenal, their prices are decent and they have pretty much all hardware a Reprapper needs.by diytechshop - General
That looks pretty awesome to me, keep in mind that that looks to be a direct drive extruder so you might have some trouble extruding 3mm filament.by diytechshop - General
Well that is very interesting to know.by diytechshop - General
Have you tried Pronterface or uploading another type of firmware onto the board?by diytechshop - General
Hello Reprappers, just to let you know, we are now stocking 9X12 heated beds for our 9X12 printers and in the next couple of days we will also have 12X12 heated beds. Very soon you will be able to print your perfect 12X12X14 cube in ABS without your cube becoming a sphere. Come and check 'em out today.by diytechshop - For Sale
Hello, with the release of our Iron 3D Plus printers comes an interesting opportunity, CUSTOM SIZED PRINTERS!! Need a 12X12X30, Okay! 9X9X2, Will do! 1X1X1, Very odd! Also for ABS try tres-semme mousse, works wonders.by diytechshop - Printing
Agreed, I used to use slic3r all the time, then I tried kisslicer... so much better.by diytechshop - Printing
What is the AMP rating of your PSU?by diytechshop - Printing
Red is probably an extruder feed-rate issue. That could definitely be the reason for blue though we would need to know a little more about your printer set up to be sure.by diytechshop - Printing
Can you simply hook it up with say, Marlin, to pronterface or similar. You could get adjustable feed-rates from that.by diytechshop - General
The only one of your requirements that the Kossel does better than the i3 is the 12" vertical build, for speed, accuracy and ease of build/maintenance definitely go i3.by diytechshop - General
Check to see if you can smoothly extrude by hand, if not you probably have an extruder clog.by diytechshop - General
Very cool idea, great for when your eyes are bigger than your build plate.by diytechshop - General
What firmware and motherboard are you using? The answers are highly dependent on those factors.by diytechshop - General
Hi everyone I just wanted to share a couple of discoveries I recently made. 1. 4$ but worth it to us diehards 2. Free but 500MB And there you have it your phone is now a Reprapper. You're welcome, ";Pby diytechshop - General
