Way back at the dawn of CAD there was the HP 7585 pen plotter. It moved a pen back and forth over more then 36 inches. The total stated accuracy for the toothed belt, pulleys, pen holder, and slide was .004 inches. The repeatability was better then that. Frankby fdew - General

Hi. New guy here. I have been designing for and using stereo lithography and 3D printed parts for years as part of my designs for low volume mfg. Now I want to get my own printer. I think I need to buy one rather then build from scratch because there is so much I don't know. Hi. I am new here. I am learning about printers so I can buy the right one. I like the Extruded aluminum designs. They look like they are stiff, and can be changed, and upgraded. I have a lot of experience designing with Mini Tec. I have not used them for a 3D printer but I would like to know if any of you have.
