the line shown "DEBUG: GCode opening port COM1 [0.178s/168ms] " make sure you setting a right COM port at reprap host. if your using windows system go to searching C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\.reprap inside there your need to open a file " reprap.PROPERTIES" and change a BaudRate setting from 19200 --> 57600

I had updated a new "official" firmware - hope to using bang-bang control for my extruder's thermcouple, however, after uploaded a new-firmware it don't connect to Reprap-host software. (i using ver. is "20100806") .... anyone had same problem like me ? Now, i only the way is go back to old hacked firmware.....

Hi, I just tried to add homing.gcode with M105 command and seem not working, may be i did some wrong ? can you tell me how much of Z max feedrate i need to set. I've tried 0.002, 0.1, 4, until to 10 mm/s .... all of them its seem make z axis step very fast and cause no movement on z axis. Thanks.

As my last post i had resolve a Z axis about it cannot lifting up in correct printing position and nophead advise me that its seem setting too fast of Z axis and losing stepping on Z motor, than i go to config a lower value of "Maximum Z feed Rate = 0.5" in Skeinforge, and its seem work fine after changed it. Hi, I had a problem in printing G-code file which is generated from skeinforge, the problems is my mendel z-axis seem dont lift-up after finish laying each layer. (I tried put my hand on a threaded rod, in fact it just lift-up very little, not enough space to lay another layer on top.) Hi, Stoffel15 & nophead .... Thanks a lot !!!! it is very very helpful......i can running a g-code and my extruder stepper motor is spinning.... By the way, because of i'm using the old version of Skeinforge. So that's why i dont see a "Carve" -- "Dimension" to config it.. Thanks a lot !!!!!

Hi, I did a modifications as a reprap design, I also connected a (SDA to D10) & (SCL to D9) already, But, I have no idea why the extruder stepper motor dont spinning when running G-Code in reprap-host software, but its can spinning in reprap-host console "extruder" button..... I'm thinking about is't my wrong G-code cause this problem. ?

Hi, I just found a way to solved my problem. I was just did follows. 1.) re-uploading a bootloader to motherboard & extruder board. 2.) upload a "FiveD_GCode_Interpreter" firmware to motherboard.
