Hello A2 , 3dkarma , ayouden The Probem is solved. The Hotend is working fine now. In case of my printer, the problem was due to accumulation of tiny particles and very little amount of PLA ( Yes, this little amount cause problems ) in the tip of the hotend ( The nozzle part ). I cleaned this using a carburetor cleaning spray which i found in the local auto store. Use a small pin or somethinby Bharadwaj - Printing
Hello, I am using an E3D v5 on my prusa mendel i2. The hotned worked fine in the beginning. But now, I have a problem. While printing PLA, the material gets stuck in the copper nozzle area, there by blocking the entire print. I have tried clearing the block, but then it just blocks again in a couple of minutes. This is a pretty new problem im facing, very recently. Please Help Bharadwajby Bharadwaj - Printing
Hello, Have you tried the RTV Gasket Yet ? How were the results ? RTV Gaskets are generally sealants, Will they work to stick the thermistor ? Thanks Bharadwajby Bharadwaj - General
Hello, Disasters happening to me :-( I just broke my thermistor . Can we use a normal 100K thermistor with the metal hotend ? Or do we need to use only a glass bead thermistor ? Please Help Thanksby Bharadwaj - General
Hey Thanks for your quick reply. I wrap it around 3 or 4 times. I will try wrapping it around like you and check. Thanks.by Bharadwaj - General
Hello, I have recently purchased an e3d full metal hotend. It works really well, but the thermistor never fixes on the hotend. I try really hard to stick it with kapton tape and it looks just fine. But, Once the hotend is heated, the kapton tape comes off, and the thermistor detaches itself from the hotend, spoiling my entire print. Anyone has a solution to this ? Please Help ! Hello, I use a Ramps 1.4 with a MK 2B Heated Bed. Everything was working fine for the past two months. Suddenly, While printing, a couple of days back, the bed was switching off automatically at around 60 degrees, Now, Some smoke comes out of the Mosfet behind the D8 Pin and the Heated Bed switched on automatically, as soon as i switch on the power supply. I have replaced the Mosfet with a newby Bharadwaj - Reprappers
Hello, Lately, We have been building a Heated Build Chamber. We use all ABS Printed parts for the printer. Considering the chamber to be at around 70 degrees centigrade, --> Is there a chance of damage to the ABS printed parts of the printer ? If Yes, How do we prevent it ? --> Will there be a problem with the GT2 Belt, which moves the x axis ? Will it slag or something because of theby Bharadwaj - General
Thanks for the response guys. I donot find any base plate for Prusa i2. Has anyone made one ? Is it fine if we just increase the thickness of the J Head Mount from 4.4mm to 5.6 mm ? Thanks Bharadwajby Bharadwaj - General
Hello, We are working with a RepRap Prusa i2 and the Wades Extruder. We are planning to upgrade our hotend to an all metal E3D v5. For mounting this on the wades extruder, Can we use a regular J head mount plate ? Should the mount plate be necessarily Metal, or will the printed ABS one work ? I was worrying if the ABS would melt, because of the direct metallic contact with the hotend. Willby Bharadwaj - General
Sorry for being so late., The problem is set. I changed the power supply. I use a 12V 30Ah Power Supply now, and everything is working fine.by Bharadwaj - General
I have tried varying the voltage between the trim pot and the ground of the power supply in the range of 0.4 V to 0.8V But still, the situation is the same. What do you exactly mean by 70% of max current of the motor ? Could you please explain the setting procedure for that ?by Bharadwaj - General
Thanks for the quick reply. But, I have a cooling sink on them, and i am working in an air conditioned lab. So, I guess heating should not be a problem.by Bharadwaj - General
Hello, I have assembled a RepRap Prusa Mendel i2. I am stuck up with the electonics, Please Help ! Im using a 450W , 12V SMPS. NEMA 17 and POLOLU A4988. Hey Dust Your doubt kind of seems right. It is the ATmega, which is heating up. 5V on a 5V pin, On the RAMPS ? I am connecting the Arduino only through a USB Cable, without the ramps pinned onto it.by Bharadwaj - Controllers
Hey Cefiar. Thanks for your help. I have connected the end stops right to S and - I dont know how,But I my Stepper Driver on the Ramps 1.4 blew off Will that possibly cause any damage to the Arduino Board ? Is there a way i can check it physically, as i am not able to connect it to the computer.by Bharadwaj - Controllers
Hello, Excuse Me if someone has already put up a thread about this. I am using Arduino MEGA 2560 + RAMPS 1.4 While trying to test my Endstops, i dont know how, but suddenly by z axis stepper driver blew off on my RAMPS 1.4 Now, while i try to connect the Arduino board ( without Ramps 1.4 on top of it ) to my laptop, the laptop does not detect the Arduino. I have even tried to check in the Deviceby Bharadwaj - Controllers
