Thank you, I will make some tests, true is that I did not play with that.by Arnold - General
Hello, does anybody know how to control speed for overhangs in kisslicer ? Or how to change detecting overhanging by angle ? I have 45 degree wall and overhang goes so slow that it ruins print.by Arnold - General
I mean I can read this file ultralcd.cpp , no code understanding. But anyway: Deleted - Lines Added + Lines Result is that there are really only EXTRUDER 1 and EXTRUDER 2. But when I move with one extruder , the value is still shared with second one. I mean if I turn with EXTRUDER 1 for example 2mm, EXTRUDER 2 has shared 2mm, it should be 0 ? Or not ? (Moving is independent, only value is shby Arnold - Firmware - Marlin
I can read it, I will try it at this evening if it helps. I will post result then. That is strange bug, I thought a lot of people must have this setup... thanksby Arnold - Firmware - Marlin

Hi guys, trying to setup marlin for two extruders. On my LCD after setting 2 extruders are: EXTRUDER EXTRUDER 1 EXTRUDER 2 If I choose move axis for example with EXTRUDER 1 to for example +2, this number is shared also on EXTRUDER and EXTRUDER 2. and now question, what is wrong ? //============================================================================= //============================by Arnold - Firmware - Marlin
Hello Bryan, actually I have not use raft till these days. Since I test it I like it. Surface finish and not worried about flat bottom. I think some residue is kept inside nozzle and causing this with extruding different material. I will try install second nozzle to next try. If not, it would be some bad ABS brand.by Arnold - General
Hello, would like to ask for something strange. When I use HIPS as the raft material and after I print on it with ABS with same nozzle. Final print itself suffer with layer delamination. (I think I purge nozzle with enough ABS material) I observe this only with combination HIPS-ABS. Is that normal behaviour of materials ?by Arnold - General
So I will buy some SD slot for test. thanksby Arnold - General
Thanks for these information Dentist. So if SD card on PanelDue does not have any different connection which would led to longer cable, I could still use Ramps with short and long ribbon cable. Long cable for LCD display and short for SD card. SD card could be on the bottom of machine and LCD on the top. Just need to buy separately SD card slot. It is not win win but for this time bettter than noby Arnold - General
Thats nice, if PanelDue have uSD slot, it could be ok. I could not find some picture where exactly it is. I could consider Duet as future upgrade. I like stand alone units and keep things simple. So I use printer mainly just like I insert card with g-code and bye bye machine. One more question: Does duet board need cooling ? (mean stepper drivers, mosfets...)by Arnold - General
True is that when I use LONG and SHORT cable, display works but no SD card. When I switch positions of cables, nothing works and LCD just lights up. I want it keep simple, no wifi or mobile connection. Just SD card and through cable to control board and have stand alone unit. Duet board is for me little bit expensive.by Arnold - General
I think that will not help, because long ribbons what I have read are generally problem. 60cm is not that long.by Arnold - General
Hi all, need some advice. I need to use LCD with SD card on ramps1.4 with long ribbon cable, around 150cm. It does not work. I actually use LCD 2004 Graphic Smart Display Controller and long ribbon cables are problem. Is there any cable solution how to have working LCD with SD card around 150cm far from Ramps ?by Arnold - General
Hi, nope, its not that. I tested it. Still do not know.by Arnold - Printing
Hi guys, does anyone know how to remove these gaps between crown path and perimeter ? I changed value for crown and result is still the same. Only what works is to change value for nozzle. Is there any other way ?by Arnold - Printing
question: is it possible in KissSlicer to make changing parameters through layers, I mean speed, retraction, temperatures ? For example: 1-10 layer - retraction 5mm 11-20 layer - retraction 6mm ...by Arnold - Printing
I have experience with few. Sli3er, Sli3er(PE), Cura. and... I always ended at raw Sli3er. Its fast, intuitive, easy, there is everything what user need. Cura is slow. I do not like interface, it is difficult to use. Tried it many times and always went back to Sli3er. And Sli3er(PE), it is tuned for Prusa printer so I do not use it also, after I tried it, went back to raw Sli3er. If I need aby Arnold - Printing
Hi all, again here with some troubles. Trying printing PETG with 0.8 nozzle (0,4layer), nozzle, bed - 220/80, retraction and moving speed as fast as I can, around 100/300mm. I tried a lot settings but seems nothing work to remove stringing. Retraction distance seems does not help. What only affect stringing was reduce temperature, I could go to 190, but print result was not ok then. so my questiby Arnold - Printing
I am amateur in electronics but it looks like bad wiring. Board should not smoke at all. Download somewhere proper wiring schema and check it. And also if you wired your motors by yourself, check cable wires if they are in proper order. About LCD you have to set the type you have ON in marlin firmware. But I think these things you probably know...by Arnold - Printing
Even if I slow down the result is bad. Main factor of it is that V6 nozzle is blobing and plastic is released even after long retraction. What I expect from Volcano is to be able make ABS more liquid and to be able suck it back more easily to prevent these blobing. I do not know if Volcano helps that, I hope so. If you have some experience Ill be glad to read it.by Arnold - Printing
Cool, so maybe I should try Volcano then. thanksby Arnold - Printing
Hi, yes, I tried to use lower speed also different layer hights, but still the same. Maybe it is by the extruder, I use V6, I do not have experience with Volcano. This Yellow print of gears looks good in my opinion, could be better but it is much better than main. Machine has I think larger heater block than V6. This yellow print is it PLA or ABS ? Because that is big difference then...by Arnold - Printing
Hi all, after many tries of calibrating in Sli3er I am really tired of 0,8 nozzle. I always used 0,4 with no problem. I am printing with ABS mostly. with 0,8 nozzle I use 1mm extrusion width and 0,4mm for layer high. Temperatures from 240 - 260°C for nozzle, 100°C for heat bed. I use bowden so I have retraction around 16-20mm. Printing speed around 40mm/s. I attach some photos. Big problem I haby Arnold - Printing
Hi all, would like to ask for Cura flow settings. I have right diameter around 1,73mm and stepper motor also calibrated and I have still bad over-extruded results with flow 100% in Cura. I use ABS. Is it normal to have flow rating set around 70% or lower, where is overextruding starting to be not visible ?by Arnold - General
Hi all, does anybody know how to turn off checking temperature in Cura when machine switch from extruder 1 to extruder 2. It always waits for heating, even then if It has both extruders set to same temperature and through software it seems to be impossible. I need only manual control like for example Sli3er has with setting temperatures to 0.by Arnold - General
