Over at the deltabots google group mailing list, there's a guy (well, me) organising a group purchase of Smoothieboards and the wonderful people behind the Smoothie project have agreed to give us a quite generous discount in case of a batch order, so anyone interested can apply to get the fantastic Smoothieboard for much lower price. The hardware and software of this is really very, very well donby imyz - For Sale
I made something similar as tjb1, you can find the files here and modify to fit the nema 23: or here: Anyway, the Astrosyn dampers are the best, but even if you use the printable ones, the difference will be so much noticeable. edit 3 minutes later: if you want, I can update the design for nema 23s and if space allows, it's best to print them way thicker.by imyz - General
Mutley3D, I have read your story and feel your pain as I have been in a similar position myself some time ago. May I have your paypal address so I can buy you a few beers or lunches? Nothing much, but as you say: "even a gravy bone seems like a meal".by imyz - General
The input pins are correct, but for deltas we usually wire them to be NC (or you inverse the logic in firmware).by imyz - Delta Machines
Its also possible youre overextruding. Have you checked the z-height?by imyz - Delta Machines
For deltas you should pass the paper test at 4 points. Positions close to the three towers and the middle. It could be that you have the middle point lower than the outer bed positions (concave surface), that why you can print the outer perimeters ok, but not the infill. Normally, you correct this by adjusting delta_radius in configuration. You can change the delta radius indirectly by changing tby imyz - Delta Machines
It sounds like its not calibrated well, but could you post a picture or video of the problem? It would be way easier to troubleshoot it. A pic is still worth a 1k wordsby imyz - Delta Machines
Check if your step motors aren't skipping steps and that steps per mm are set correctly in the firmware. They should all be the same for XYZ tower motors.by imyz - Delta Machines
Do you have a thermistor connected? I cannot recall at the moment if the printer would run without the thermistor, if you have it defined in the firmware. Try to define the temp sensor ar 0 and try again. It's this line: #define TEMP_SENSOR_0 0 (you have 1 at the moment). Sorry, I am not at the printer and cannot test it to be sure.by imyz - Delta Machines
Basically the same as daveb500 said + I think you also need to comment out: #define ACCURATE_BED_LEVELINGby imyz - Delta Machines
Are you sure you have enabled "delta printer" in the configuration?by imyz - General
