So I've removed the extruder/hotend assembly, mainboard, control interface, filament sensing system, limit switches, and extruder/axis motors from a 3d Systems Cube X duo. I replaced the axis motors with Kysan 1124192 steppers and attached the necessary pullies. I've installed a 3mm 24v Pico hotend. I've removed the Azteeg x3 controller board from my bukobot and installed it. I've installed tby bpgoss1 - Reprappers
I was wondering if anyone knew about a tool for removing and reapplying belt tensioner springs. Before anyone goes off with "why are you doing this often enough that you need a tool?" Yes it's true, I don't this regularly on any one single printer. I do freelance repair work. Some printers are repraps, some aren't. Whenever I need to replace a belt, stepper or other component that requires diby bpgoss1 - General
So I'm currently in the middle of modifying a CubeXduo. I've removed all proprietary systems and have begun replacing them with standardised reprap compnents taken from my bukobot. Just finished modifying parts to construct the replacement extruder/hotend assembly. Hotend is for 3mm filament. No PTFE lining tube. Now onto the axis motors. They are connecting to my azteeg3x controller boarby bpgoss1 - Reprappers
I have a 12v heated cartidge here. I'm looking to extend the wiring a bit. Does any one know where I can get some more of that woven insulated red wire? Thanksby bpgoss1 - Reprappers
I've begun this as well. The information in this forum is quite useful. I've removed the cube's board, touchscreen panel, usb plug, cartridge filament chip sensors and locking latches, as well as the hotend and filament tensioning assembly mechanism. Check out these optical sensors that watch the extruder gear and filament tensioning wheel turn. I've begun removing systems from my bukobot fby bpgoss1 - General Mendel Topics
