Thermistor pin change? - 10 years ago
So I am 98.7% certain that I fried the pins on the board my hot end thermistor. The bed sensor still works and there is a third set. I would like to either have ti read off the bed pins or utilize the extra pins. I am using a prusa i3 printer setup. I changed in the code what I thought was it but it did not seem to have any change. I should be using the latest Marlin update I thinkby rdzmzda - Reprappers

I am getting the following error from arduino now. I did not use to get this, and I am using the exact same code that use to work on my printer. I am now getting the following error. This all started because I needed to change the z offset on auto bed leveling. It has not been working correctly and I was trying to readjust it. Now I cannot make changes to my program and I have no clue why, this hby rdzmzda - General

Nothing works....or has worked. I switched my endstops to the original position before I started all this and got an all new problem. I started a new thread for the new problem. But in summation the probe is not moving anywhere on the x/y axis. The probe will extend/retract but stays in same position.by rdzmzda - General
Auto Bed Level (ABL) issues again - 11 years ago
I still have never gotten ABL to actually work, but I moved the endstop points and got the printer working again. I am still working on the ABL and now it is not moving anywhere on the x or y axis when it goes to probe. The servo mount is extending and retracting each time (I dummy press my z stop switch until I get the actual probe switch and ABL working correctly) but while it will move down onby rdzmzda - General

Quoterdzmzda So I think I came up with a fix. It is unorthodox to say the least but it seems to work. If I offset the print bead to where the first measurement is at the highest point then the last measurement is the lowest point it does not seem to drag. I get this is probably not ideal but it works..... I do not really know what else to do. Nope wait that did not work just a fluke that it workeby rdzmzda - General

No it still has a bed crash I have clue why it is doing this but between probes it never lifts the x axis and it eventually by the 4th probe cannot lift the probe off the bed and it drags itby rdzmzda - General

Danielis, change your z offset to -1 I had similar problems and it was because I was using decimals. That is of course if I understand your problem correctly. Try it change it and see what that does for you. As for my issue...my home position is the back right of the board my servo is installed on the left side of the extruder. I use to have the extruder home to the front left of the board but thby rdzmzda - General

I seriously cannot take it anymore I have been trying to set up this ABL for 5 days. I have a Folgertech Prusa I3 that was working fine I used it constantly and thought ok I will upgrade it with the auto bed leveling. I am thinking about throwing in the towel and saying I am done I cannot seem to figure out what is going on. The z probe will do the first 2 probes fine then on the third one it draby rdzmzda - General
