I ended up reducing the feed rate by quite a bit, down to 85. It has helped with the loops/waves but now I have to adjust all the infill again it seems. Oh the joys of Diy...by drHEEB - Printing
Yeah I will try by 5 percent and then narrow in from there.by drHEEB - Printing
Yeah I was starting to think that it is maybe from it being to slow. Filament is being extruded faster than printer is moving, so it has no where else to go but make those little loop/waves off to the side. Its just weird that all the calibration objects came out super smooth.by drHEEB - Printing
Failed to mention Abs at 225.by drHEEB - Printing
So I have completed all calibration, but when I run a full new print I get "waves". I have attached what I mean. I have a basic set up prusa i3 with only a mk7 And plan to upgrade, but I have seen mk7 prints much better than what I am getting.by drHEEB - Printing
I am trying to maintain for abs. I can get the bed to heat up to target just fine, but any (and I mean any) kind of airflow will cause the bed to lose temp. I was hearing that some people put their bed on a seperate (xbox) power supply. I just don't get how the wiring goes so that you still have control through the interface.by drHEEB - Printing
The new auto tune values didn't work. It gets to target heat just fine, but the second I turn the nozzle fan on, it loses heat and can't get back to target. It remains about 5 degrees below target. Any other ideas?by drHEEB - Printing

I got the auto tune to work and input the new values. We will see if the new values work and then I will update.by drHEEB - Printing
I got the auto tune to work and input the new values. The only time turning down the fan works, is if its off or so low that it doesn't cool like it should be. I have had to but the printer in an enclosure, which has helped, but not enough. It feels like if I even breath on the bed the temp goes down. We will see if the new values work and then I will update.by drHEEB - General
I can't even get an auto tune to work. It times out because it can't reach its target. Seems like it's not getting enough power or something?by drHEEB - General
I cant even get the auto tune to finish. It times out because it takes forever to reach target temp. Its almost like its not getting enough juice.by drHEEB - Printing
Was at 255 and trying new auto tune now. Hopefully that will help.by drHEEB - Printing
I have been having an issue with my heater bed keeping up with a print anytime I have any kind of fan going. I was able to block the air (from the extruder fan) from hitting the bed and that works. When I install a fan for the nozzle though, the air from that cools the bed and it shuts down the print. Does anyone have some tests I can run or have a seperate psu idea for the bed? It's for a folgeby drHEEB - General
