Taz slow to extrude material - 9 years ago
I extrude material prior to print to assure its ready to go, but once the prints starts sometimes its a good 10 seconds before material starts coming out. Any ideas?by 3dmi - General

I believe so, but I will have to check when I get a chance on Wednesday. Started to see smoke almost instantly. Unplugged everything and felt the fuse and it was hot.by 3dmi - General

Im connecting a standard heating cartridge into a ramps 1.4. Something like: I plugged my cartridge into d10 and thermistor into t0, powered on and fried a fuse. So, do I need a resistor connected to my hotend wires?by 3dmi - General

So the Z endstop female plug would be in the last set of pins contrary to the 2nd to last set of pins?by 3dmi - General

So I am working on putting an arduino/ramps setup on an UP! 3d printer. Picture of printer: I am currently running repetier .92. My problem is that the endstop for the z axis is at the bottom of the printer while the extruder is on a locked x axis at the top of the printer. Meaning that when I press home, the platform goes to the bottom of the printer. Then when I start a test gcode print, thby 3dmi - General
