More or less, unfortunately i wasn't able to use my printer very much since i started troubleshooting this error, but it appears that is related to the LCD part of firmware overwritting the dry run bit. It appears to be solved using a specific version of the lcd library. It's a delta printer with a bowden extruder, so being the extruder stationary, it's pretty unlikely however I've tried to wiggle the cables while measuring the resistance and there is no change al allby javitopia - General

No, I'm sure they are different, since the old stepper and the new have different nominal currents, and I adjust the drivers 10% under that current (the old one was 1.5A and the new one is 1.3)by javitopia - General

Both the motor and the driver have been replaced, also since the controller is different the current it's probably different.by javitopia - General

Today it happened again arround layer 24 of a 4 hours print (and the stepper was barely warm) again, nothing strange in the logs. Isn't there any option to debug this? However these days I've printed lots of small print (les than 2 hours) most of them continously and didn't have a problems so it's pretty strange, only happens with large prints, but anywhere in the print (that last one was arrounby javitopia - General

At the top of the extruder there is a black plastic ring, this is the thing holding in place your ptfe liner (wich as previously said is just a short bowden tube) if you press down (against the extruder metal body) the tube the liner (or bowden tube) would be release and you could extract it (you have to keep pressing the black ring, as soon as is released, the tube is against locked). The trimpot is adjusted to give sigtly less than the nominal current. And rigth now after a little more than a hour of printing, the stepper motor is onlly wam. I can touch it (and grab it) so i doubout the stepper is overheating. And from what i read the problem with over driving the steppers is that they will get hot, to the point they could melt plastic, specially PLA, and they could have theby javitopia - General

Hi. This is a problem i've having with my printer for some time, but having more important problems, and since it doesn't happens every print (it only happens in large prints of arround 4h and i have some sucessfull prints in between). The problem is that randomly, the extruder (motor) stops mid print, so the printer continues as if nothing happened (heaters on, and head continue to move normallby javitopia - General

The resistor is for limiting the current of the led, so if you are not going to solder a led, you can also ignore the resistor since they don't have anything to do with the heated bed itself. If you want to add a led, use a 1k resistor (for 12v) and remember that leds have a polarity (the shorter leg is the negative) or simply solder 2 each in the other way. Although the pt100 is more precise and have a wider temperature margin in the e3d page it clearly states that they are only compatible with makerbot electronics and that they would require additional electronics to plug it in a ramps. As for the normal Thermistor, is not that hard to get it working. From what you tell it appears that you have ether a broken wire or the Thermistor leads are shorby javitopia - General

I dont know for sure in marlin, but for repetier there is a option called "Endstop distance after homing" wich controls the distance of the carriages to the endstops after the homing has taken place (so the printer homes at the Z max distance minus that parameter). It's pretty useful for delta printers since when you move the effector horizontally, some carriage go up and the other goes down, soby javitopia - Reprappers
