yup i did that multiple times and still had parts of my bed where the first layer nearly vanished (bc the hotend was too close to the bed) to mitigate this i mostly print the first layer at 0.3mm. kinda hacky. ill take a look at my bed.g file tonight, but i can assure you its more than 0.11. also i did not use your ir probe but an inductive sensor.by Karatektus - Duet

Hi, i built a Delta Printer a few years ago mostly copying dc42's Delta. I used Traxxas ball joints and so on. I am pretty happy with the machine, except that it has never been calibrated really well (bc its a paiiin). I mostly solve issues by printing a higher first layer and printing the first layer really slow. I now found the smart effector dc42 developed, which lets me use the hotend itsby Karatektus - Duet

Replikeo Support not answering for weeks. - 10 years ago
Hello, I ordered my Duet board from Replikeo last year and it also arrived relatively fast. However it broke a few weeks in. I contacted them at the end of january to get a replacement. They replied quickly and requested a picture of the broken board. I sent that immediately. Now it took a while for them to get back to me but i figured it takes a while to process the picture. My microstepping on one driver seems to be lower than on the other drivers. Its kind of weird it just "happens". I think the board is broken. So bridging those pads could be the solution?by Karatektus - Duet

Its a Duet v0.6 microstepping cant be controlled by software afaik One thing i noticed: It either happens directly after startup, or in the first 1-2 layers... never happened afterwards.by Karatektus - Printing

Hi. I recently built my own delta robot. I mostly used dc_42s Blog as a guide... It works well.. up to a point. Sometimes (more often in recent times) it starts moving strange. It seems like it uses way more steps for one stepper (the "Z" stepper - also you cant really call it that on a delta robot) than for the others... It happens often after turning it on, but also mid print sometimes. Has anyby Karatektus - Printing

Ne ich bau jetzt nich auf 3mm um Und sollte für 1,75 Filament sein. die Kuhle ist 3mm breit. die für 3er Filament sollte 4,Xmm breit sein. Der Grund für den Doppelantrieb: E3D Volcano auf 30*50cm.by Karatektus - Mechanik

Hi Ich bin der Paul und habe ein Problem Ich habe mir nen Delta Drucker gebaut und hatte beim Extruder keine Lust mehr 192348623 Einzelteile zu drucken / kaufen und das Ding dann zusammen zu bauen. Das war blöd. Das MK8 Gear frisst mir nämlich ständig das Filament kaputt... Da ich allerdings sowieso nen relativ großen Drucker habe und dementsprechend flott drucken mag, dachte ich mir ich machby Karatektus - Mechanik

Ich hätte von meinem auch erwartet, dass er sich bei 12V dreht. halt langsamer. Kann mir jemand sagen ob das ein fehlerhafter Lüfter ist?by Karatektus - Schwarzes Brett

Vergiss nicht das dann auch der Lüfter 24V braucht (Mein e3D Lüfter läuft bei 24V . bei 23,9V dreht er sich garnicht!)by Karatektus - Schwarzes Brett

Halli Hallo, ich bin am überlegen mich ein bisschen mit dem Thema Platinen ätzen zu beschäftigen und mir ein kleines "Labor" aufzubauen... mein akuter Grund ist, dass ich mir Hal Endstops selber bauen will, aber auch, dass ich ein bisschen Löten möchte, dass hab ich nämlich schon lange nicht mehr getan. Wollte nun endlich mal was sehen und hab schonmal bisschen aufgebaut. Muss eh alles nochmal auseinander gerissen werden. Da wollt ich grad mal ins Obi und Schrauben kaufen... Die Auwahl war eher bescheiden. Dafür war das, was sie da hatten, günstiger als auf Ebay... morgen nochmal in den Schraubenhandel :xby Karatektus - Projekte

Achso ja - Geplant war "eigtl" nur das V6, da aber die ganzen einzelnen Nozzles ziemlich teuer sind und es schön wäre da etwas flexibel zu sein spiele ich schon die ganze Zeit mit dem Gedanken mir das Power Pack zu holen... im Zweifelsfall kann ich den Volcano immer noch einzeln verkaufen und dann hab ich vermutlich sogar geld gegenüber V6+alle Nozzles gespart... mal schaun. Ausserdem dachte ichby Karatektus - Projekte
