HI Guys, i am setting up a folger ft6 and i have it setup with tmc2209. i have configured the sensorless homing on x and y and Z has endstop. the printer homes ok on xyz but when printing it lower the bed moves to the right place raises the bed 2mm from the nozzle and starts printing there. on the machine i have not setup Z offset. Please can anyone help. regards, Timby aliaj00 - Firmware - Marlin
Hi guys, I have the following issue with the Pronterface when i try to open slic3r settings. Best regards, Tim.by aliaj00 - Printrun/Pronterface
HI Garyho, me too ordered the second kit almost 2 weeks ago. no news till now i am starting to get worried. aliaj00by aliaj00 - Duet
Hi selva_tvi did you have luck contacting them. i ordered a second kit from them and now its almost 2 weeks and no news from them. aliaj00.by aliaj00 - Duet
Advice, -> Get a new power supply. It's starting to affect the voltage of the Arduino and if the power to Arduino goes in from that power supply then you are in trouble as Arduino need 5V. Put a voltmeter to the power supply output "15v in your case" and see if it bounce to much "under-load i mean as during idle it will show ~15.something V", if you have a analog voltmeter the better so youby aliaj00 - General
Wow $148.40+ for the caliper, i see why you keep it in the house. for that price you get the electronics of the prusa i3. Well i am way cheaper then you i keep mine in the box it came with, and very lightly oiled just in case. i got mine around 25 Euros it was stock in a shop and he wanted to get rid of it i guess.by aliaj00 - General
Hi rhmorrison, thanks a lot i will try to print other stuff to see how it goes. those two were things found on internet for testing. The first casualty of printing was my finger, i thought the hotend was not getting hot and touched it very fast to see, BIG MISTAKE i have my finger swelling now it was damn to hot like 190 but i learned something new after all this years If it helps anyoneby aliaj00 - General
get a manual one and learn how to read it its far better as you will be pretty sure it is that distance. its easy to get used to it just grab random stuff and start reading them. after a few tests it will become second nature and you know that the distance you are measuring is the real one. i have a German made one, it costed more the 10 Euro but its very accurate if you handle it gently. Hi Guys, The replikeo prusa i3 kit with dual ormerod 2.xxx extruder turned out to be good stuff i managed to print well at first time. photos attached. PS: I still need to play with the amount of material and feedspeeds but as first prints they looks good . Also i mounted the hot bed with the wires in front of the printer as they were to close to the end-stop has anyone managed to resolveby aliaj00 - General
Hi ElmoC, i wired it back together and it looks like it works just with one extruder but will try to figure it out most probably its me not knowing to set it up . my kit does not have the LCD so better this way Timi,by aliaj00 - General
ElmoC, you are an angel . it worked. the key was to rename the replikeo header file to Configuration.h so the Marlin.ino was untouched and comment out the #define G3D_PANEL at line 561. i will connect the rest and see if this thing works finally. PS i started touching with the fingers the thermistors and they registered the change in temperature. THANKS AGAIN 100000000... times. Timi,by aliaj00 - General
Hi ElmoC, yes before but anyhow i renamed it to Configuration.h and i am facing the lcd error so something was not ok i will do your suggestion and cross fingers Timi,by aliaj00 - General
hi ElmoC, i just did and i get this error. ultralcd.cpp:36: error: initializer-string for array of chars is too long very strange as i had changed the filename in the marlin.ino "i know some programming so i thought it would be enough " any idea ??? about this error. Timi,by aliaj00 - General
HI ElmoC, i set the following vaules and still nothing the same errors: // 1010 is Pt1000 with 1k pullup (non standard) // 147 is Pt100 with 4k7 pullup // 110 is Pt100 with 1k pullup (non standard) #define TEMP_SENSOR_0 1 #define TEMP_SENSOR_1 1 // REPLIKEO DUAL (SINGLE:0) #define TEMP_SENSOR_2 0 #define TEMP_SENSOR_BED 1 // This makes temp sensor 1 a redundant sensor for sensor 0. If the temby aliaj00 - General
Hi ElmoC, i am not finding the value for thermistor on configuration file. Please can you give it a look, Timi,by aliaj00 - General
Hi ElmoC, thanks a lot will try it right now . Timi,by aliaj00 - General
Hi Guys, Here are the photos, i disconnected the motors endstopsas i am afraid i might screw something up. Timi,by aliaj00 - General
Hi ElmoC, yes i connected the thermistors to T0 and T2 "dual extruder setup" on T1 i have the hotbed thermistor. i checked the wires with the digital voltmeter and they are ok one by one. <<<>>>> i didnt changed anything on the replikeo files i just selected the Configuration__DUAL_EXTRUDER_MODE.h from the \Prusa-i3-Bowden-Extruder-master\Prusa-i3-Bowden-Extruder-master\maby aliaj00 - General
Hi guys, i received my repliceo and assembled it. it came with induction autoleveling but i switched to endstops as i am not confident with the induction leveling "ordered a few reserve endstops when i got the kit". i have the ormerod 2 hot end. i have the following issue. i have installed the firmware that repliceo suggested, but when i connect to pronterface it gives me the following error:by aliaj00 - General
and by the way, if i can get at 30-50 um it will be still usable. just will live with what i can archive . Timi,by aliaj00 - Mechanics
No I want 2um mechanical accuracy for the laser head movements. 15um is enough for the laser beam, at least for what I will try to use it for.. For the hole I will need to work with my brothers microscope to align plates to form the hole. No drill for it . 100wats is the max I think of what this setup can handle. Not that I will be buying it . There are Chinese 100wat co2 lasers or they claim toby aliaj00 - Mechanics
No, I will go as cheap as possible. Will try to find some optics to combine 1 or 2 lasers. Then will use reflective hole to just let what I want through it so It will take care of the optics inaccuracies which are big. I think in the 100wat range as maximum. Will try to coat and make the geometry to sparse the light that gets reflected over a cooler. After all engineering is the science of % percby aliaj00 - Mechanics
So I will need to start with a cast bed of some thickness to filter the vibration and put some mass on the linear bearing like 16mm rods. enlarge the machine envelope to take care of the linear bearing tolerances put longer rods and more distance between the linear bearings. It can be done for sure, but will need some casting . I don't want too much speed, as I only want to make the interfacesby aliaj00 - Mechanics
Hi all, Thanks for the replies. I don't mean to use a cutter at those resolution but will go instead with the laser. Pulsing it out till it get the copper out. I need to put a camera and a few sensor to it to find if it has cleared all the Cooper out. But the first thing to worry is mechanical accuracy. You guys are correct about the whole machine not flexing at 2um if it is going to have any dby aliaj00 - Mechanics
Hi All, does anyone have any one has any idea where to find gt2 pulley reduction gears, i am new here . Or any stl file to print them. I was thinking of making a pcb router and need to find ways to get the 2 micron step size for high density chips. Any thoughts?? will try to use laser diode for the engravings. Hi Guys, Ordered the Replikeo with e few spare parts made some changes to my list, added a driver a bolt and some other parts, also Gilles from the replikeo was very fast and nice at my emails. I will go with DHL soo in a week or two will get the printer up and running hopefully. Timi,by aliaj00 - General
Hi Guys, I searched around and the minimum i need to spend even for ReplikEo would be around 500$ with shipping and 2 spools of PLA 1.75mm + few spare plastic parts and a couple of stop switches in case it goes south. i will try to go with ReplikEo with 3mm steel frame and dual extruders "in case one does not work". Hope to get a working printer . will update when i will get it. If it works wiby aliaj00 - General
Hi Guys, I am looking into hobby 3d printing, and i have a budged of less then 400$. i wanted to ask if i can get anything with this money? Are the prusia i3 kits sold on ebay worth the money. any suggestions. PS. i am good with mechanical things and electronics and have spare arduinos for it. any way i can get the mechanical parts sorted out by going the build way ??? Timi,by aliaj00 - General
