Anyone have a Makerfarm Pegasus with the Cyclops hot end? If so how did you mount the hot end?by BCM45 - Reprappers

I the reflashed the firmware with a an older one I had and and changed the arduino itself and I am printing again. I looked through both of the firmware files I could not see a difference. Thanks for all of your help.by BCM45 - General

I recently tried to switch my Makerfarm Pegasus over to dul extruder. I uploaded the required firmware changing the steps/mm and all of that over to the settings tht work for my printer. The z axis homes when the print starts and then ionce it starts the actual print the z axis stays 1" or so over the bead and starts printing. I can't seem to figure out what is wrong. How do I run both extruders from within the Marlin menu? I can run the primary extruder but can't figure out how to run the secondary one.by BCM45 - General

When I was attempting to calibrate my printer I ended up having different steps/mm for both of those axis. It dawned on me today as I was trying to print a circular object and it came out as an oval.by BCM45 - General

If you are using an identical belt and identical pulley for the X and Y axis should the steps/mm be the same for both?by BCM45 - General

Thanks, I readjusted the z steps/mm then dialed the flow back to 85% and that seemed to help. I'm going to find the correct way to measure the z-axis travel and further tune the machine to get the best possible result.by BCM45 - General

The first 2 or 3 layers come out good but then it looks like the nozzle is buried in the print pushing the plastic around. How do I fix this?by BCM45 - General

I am wating for a replacement hot end it should be here this week. It has a threaded barrel so hopefully that works out. Which extruder are you considering?by BCM45 - General

Can anyone tell me which extruder I have and tell me a good direct bolt in replacement? I do not like this extruder at all it seems like everytime I turn my back to it it stop extruding. The motor turns but no filament is pushed through and I have tried a couple of different rolls. It doesn't jam up just stops a little push on the filament and it takes right off. I need something a little more foby BCM45 - General
