I've designing a new type of hotend but I don't have the equipment required to make it. I've looking for fablabs, makerspaces etc in my country (I'm from Spain) but I couldn't find one with the equipment required to metalworks (aluminium CNC machining etc). I've heard that there Chinese manufacturers on demand that can make any CAD model that you send. (Similar to PCB manufacturers on demand Iby Shockley - General
I want to design hotends but I don't know how to start with the design. I suppose that I'm going to need knowledge about thermodynamics, material enginering etc. But, What knowledge do I need exactly?? Thanks.by Shockley - Developers

Quotemarkstephen FreeCAD, and the #1 reason... It runs on Linux! (and I will not ever give even one rusty penny to micro$oft) The other few solid molders that run on Linux have a UI that just flat out sucks rocks. For designing parts to be printed and all around work at home, I haven't found anything I cant do with FreeCAD. And you really can't beat the price. Yep is a good software for making 3by Shockley - 3D Design tools
