Quotejason128 Quick question - does anyone know what voltage the led enclosure and hotend lights on a cube PRO run on? They have a resistor wired in to them, I have tried the. Hey Dorris, I have the same setup, printer and diet Wi-Fi. I haven’t messed with mine in awhile but actually just got the go ahead to play with it some more in the last couple days. So I’ll have to refresh my memory on the codes etc. I remember I had all the coding done on it except for a few. I know I needed to get the bin swipe codes done for the extruder before the print started, did you gby advancedrescue - General
Has anyone swapped out their stock glass build plate? Mine cracked cause inflammation it to not be completely level. I'll be putting a PEI sheet on top of it, thinking I could go with something other than glass but not be too heavy. If anyone has can you provide a link? The CubexUpgrade's page appears to be down, thought they might have one.by advancedrescue - General
Quotehisforhack Last night My Pi Cubepro was printing ABS very well at 35 mm/sec, 230c, heated build chamber at 55c. "NO heated bed". Problem now is, it prints the part as a mirror image in the X-Axis, I need to change firmware and stepper motor cable tomorrow. I have CubeX frame and slides for parts, how hard is it to change to a Core X-Y? have you done it? Cheers Derek I had the same problem.by advancedrescue - General
layer fan success!! Nothing I did in the FFF firmware still helped the fan situation, at least on its own it didn't. From googling I found where someone mentioned something about the M106 codes in the S3D scripts. To get to where I'm talking about you go to -edit process setting/scripts/starting scripts, then in the bottom half of this page you'll see post processing section. S3D has some "aby advancedrescue - General
Quoteedubaka Hey guys, Im customizing my CubeX Duo to use a Makerbot 2X Extruder Kit , Motor + Extruder. im having some dificulties on the carriage can anyone help me? =( Possibly, what's the issue and I'd like to see pictures of it as I think it might look cool.by advancedrescue - General
Quotedc42 The "M106 S$" config you have in S3D should work. You don't need the P0 parameter because that is the default. S3D should output M106 S255 to turn the fan full on. There is no way that S3D should output M106 with no parameters at all, there should always be an S parameter included in the command. Check, I'll give it a go.by advancedrescue - General
Got to play a little with it some more as I'm limited on time. Tho I did make some progress on the layer fan. Up infill the other day no matter what I did in S3D, including making changes to the FFF firmware configurations like you mentioned fox didn't do anything. I even checked the g code from all the prints before, and it never attempted to turn the fans(no M106 codes in the file). There'by advancedrescue - General
Quotefg dude sorry to heare that story, I hope you get along with the guy in the future and everyting gets ok again. Yeah it's caused a huge issue in the dept as a whole. Guy broke the chain of command to do so, and it in turn screwed a lot of other people from being able to enjoy their hobbys. Sadly I think I'm done with the printer here for alittle while. I usually work on it while at the fire station but as of this past week had to get it out of the station due to someone being butt hurt over another issue and complained. Bad thing was I was literally working out one of my last code issued when I was informed of the complaint and I had to remove it. Also the printer wasn't even whaby advancedrescue - General
Here's a few from today in the cubepro housing. I really wish I could find a way to either make the little screen work or get another screen that fits there. Would be nice to get maybe a pause/play/stop, and or time remaining. Anything really. For the most part I'll probably use the printer out of the housing unles I start using it for ABS. It's in the housing now because I had to brinby advancedrescue - General
QuoteDancook That happens with any print job, filament, multiple slicers, multiple temps, it's basically going to happen... so I'm thinking it's physical. My only other thought is maybe PIDs, since the hot end is the only other thing that's constant? But I'm thinking that's even a long shot. It's more of an under extrusion kind of like a missed step... Around 90 percent has heat sink, the ones that have electrical tape I have to go back and do the heat sink. I agree I'm not crazy about it. Yeah the silicone tape does. Main reason went with it was the print cooling fans would kick on and make the heat blocks drop temp suddenly and would send a fault to the board. No problems now. In autozone you can find it where the tubes of silicone are.by advancedrescue - General
Here's some updates on my build. I have the exterior shell of the cubepro, but didn't take a picture of it installed. Quick list of mods and parts: *Duet wifi, and panel due *2 E3D 24v volcano hotends -- I then drilled and taped the bottom cover plate so that the extra nozzles screw down. ---I used TheJones mod to mount the hot ends, and also his mod for the Bowden tubes going into the extrby advancedrescue - General
Right now I have mine setup to zero in back left. I got my y endstop in the back right, and x endstop on the left. So when homing it raises hitting the z endstop, then left to hit x endstop, then back to hit the y endstop. After zeroing out homing ithe extruder position is off the actual print bed. Then the extruders move forward to the back left corner of the bed, then via g code it sets thatby advancedrescue - General
Anyone have, or thought about adding a blower/ radial fans to to replace the 3 large print cooling fans? I was mainly interested in it as a possible way to clean up the carriage and give better view of the print area. The three fans that are there now are too powerful as it is (at least for me). I had to wrap my E3D volcanos with silicone in order for them not to send a fault to my duet wifi.by advancedrescue - General
I actually took them out and have nothing replacing them and the bed seems to sit fine thru the handful of prints I've done in the last few daysby advancedrescue - General

QuoteTeilchen Is it just me, or are there really no E commands in that GCode at all? What slicer are you using? If it is Slic3r, do you have a filament selected prior slicing? Main screen at the right upper corner? Also, I am not sure a M004 GCode exists, a typo perhaps? I use simplified. I tried printing using simplified to slice and then also straight from duet web interface. Heading home nby advancedrescue - Duet
Oh and right now the hot end heats up when I turn the printer on. I actually got all the electronics from the pro wired up and powered on today. All components work, I actually wired up extruders and stepper motors, etc. Mainly to get an understanding how it all works and different voltage to various parts. Going to do some test tomorrow with more components to see the voltage for them. I'll be at the station tomorrow(yeah my shift has christmas this year),by advancedrescue - General
