Hi, due to an unexpected upgrade I'm selling my MKS Sbase v1.3 +4x TL-Smoothers for the DRV8825 drivers that has been used on my delta without any issues. Maybe someone will fancy an upgrade before I put it on ebay. I also just ordered and received, however didn't manage to test (due to the upgrade) 4x LV8927 drivers with adapter boards. They're supposed to be similarly quiet (as per some youtubby RandomFactoid - For Sale
Hey, Just discovered this thread as am tempted to try LV8729's with my mks sbase 1.3. Did anyone have a chance to try 1/64 or 1/128 ? How is the noise then ? Or perhaps there's no use of that ? I think it's a misconception in my head that more microstepping is more quiet (probably isn't, right.. ?). Thanksby RandomFactoid - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Made some under bed mounts. So far working well.by RandomFactoid - General
I know many people have implemented piezos into their printers and wont be impressed.. But i thought I'd just thank moriquendi and Simon for all their hard work. I got the 1.2v board when it was still quite new.. And tried multiple ways to adapt the hotend version to my effector... Which was massive pain in the butt. So i just went for the underbed version which turned out great. Thanks for everby RandomFactoid - General
Hey! I have sort-of-successfully used a 20mm piezo design once, however I stopped because of inconsistencies due to what I thought was slight hotend clamp tilt caused by the bowden tube (delta printer). By now quite a lot of time has passed since this whole piezo idea started evolving...I guess people have come up with their own ideas...and something more than what's on thingiverse. Is it possible to use digital mode with smoothieware as well ?by RandomFactoid - General
Unfortunately I didn't get to finding out what exactly I need. Roughly...what values can I expect ? I have a big leftover pot from an arduino set...maybe that one will workby RandomFactoid - General
Hi folks, I just PM'ed Moriquendi, but figured I could've just asked here...sorry for that. I;ve had some nice probing attempts with the v1.2 board on my delta...and then after some fiddling with stuff, VR1 just stopped working. I'm getting no readings between any of the terminals. What sort of potentiometer can I replace it with ? Thanksby RandomFactoid - General
