Viktor; I love The Singularity is Near. It's one of my favorite books of all time. I credit it with allowing me to me able to see the greatness in reprap a year ago. Now if only I could get my friends to read it.by the automatic writing - General

I just had a thought, wouldn't it be cool if there was a contest to see who could print the most complex shape with there reprap. Or maybe the most artistic or useful or something. You could have folks take a time laps video of there build and a picture of the finished whatever they make. Maybe even a little corporate sponsership from BFB or makerbot to sweetin the pot. Hi. Been reading your forums and blogs religiously since I heard about Reprap through sciencedaily.com. I haven't begain building my own yet but I have managed to build a workshop inspired by the Reprap project(I built it for free). Anyway, after checking out the DAVID 3D scanner I started thinking how cool it would be to have that software on a palm pilot, reprap a custom case to hold a laseby the automatic writing - 3D Scanners, Book Scanners, and Optics
