Nice! - how does the printed parts hold up inside the heated chamber?by martin1454 - CoreXY Machines
Quoteclaustro thank you I am asking a quote for this 2 gears but I am thinking if would be possible to use a 5mm bore worms with a 8 mm gear. With this measure you can directly attach the worms to a standard nema 17 motors while using a 8mm for the shaft. I you need to purchase them, look at I just ordered : Was cheaper and easier than from KHKs own page.by martin1454 - General
Sure it is not more than 1.5m Z ? cause the printer looks like its at least 2m high, and most people are 160-190cm highby martin1454 - CoreXY Machines
Perfect! I use a 300x400mm bed, but I can live with a 300x350 - Have you tried nylon on it yet?by martin1454 - General
While the product is really nice, im affraid that the goal is a bit ambitious - $30K is a lot, and only 23 dayss to goby martin1454 - General
VRON 2.1? D-bot with enclosure mod? You could also make an cartesian like the MK3 and then a small encosure box over itby martin1454 - General
@Dust Well I guess it take a little bit of load off, since the TFT loads of the SD card, so it wont have to handle the SD card file system, but instead just listens to the serial stream - but almost no performance gainby martin1454 - General
@jinx - Usually it is for something like a filament runout sensorby martin1454 - General
Hi there! - Im in the middle of an project where Im building an delta printer. It is running an ramps 1.4 with the newest marlin firmware. I have a special need for homing - Before it homes all the 3 axis, I need it to move one of the steppers first 2mm upwards ( opposite of the homing axis) On a normal cartesian printer, I would just move the X or Y axis before homing, but on a delta, allby martin1454 - General
Greetings! Im in the process of starting up a new 3d printer build, where I want to build an coreXY/HBOT/DBOT style printer(not totally sure yet which) Im going to try to make it space efficent (max bed vs frame size) - Right now im trying to look into the diffrent type of axis configurations. for Z axis, I have openbuilds V-slot rails as frame, which i could use with some wheels, but wouldby martin1454 - General New Machines Topics
Found out what the problem was - The premade cable i bought for the stepper was incorrectly wired - the 2 center wires was switched arround.. NEXT question is: I have defined in configuration.h "#define EXTRUDERS 2" But on the LCD display in prepare->move axis - I have 3 extruders - Extruder - Extruder1 and Extruder 2 Is that normal?by martin1454 - Firmware - Marlin
QuoteRoberts_Clif I have a single filament single nozzle and my LCD display says "E1 heating...." also so this may be misleading, because others have stated the same. will be watching this as want to learn this myself. Hmm... Intresting..... Might have to look a bit deeper into the hardware then -by martin1454 - Firmware - Marlin
Hello! - Im trying to upgrade my 3d printer to a dual extruder setup - Im going to use a bowden Y-splitter to my hotend. Im running a MKS gen.1.4 with Marlin 1.1.4 After uploading the firmware, the first extruder (E0) works just fine, but the second (E1), when i try to move that, the LCD display says "E1 heating...." and then just hangs there - there goes a little click sound before it happensby martin1454 - Firmware - Marlin
