Help with TMC2208 on Ramps 1.4 - 8 years ago
Hello All, Been trying for a couple of days to get my 2208's working in uart mode. What ever I try I cannot seem to change the current or step mode via marlin. I have the fystec versions, i have soldered the CFG pads on the bottom, have a wire running from the PDN pin to pin 59 on the ramps. All jumpers under the driver removed, made all the changes to marlin. when i run m122 it still saysby Oliclarke - General

OK This may be a slightly long post. I will do my best to get to the point. Preheated my hot end, didnt realize the thermistor was not installed correctly. The hot end got very hot, spluttering boiling PLA everywhere. No big deal, I replaced heat break, nozzle, heat cartridge and thermistor. All with the same (but new) parts, thinking it would be good as new. Since then I am having under extrby Oliclarke - General
