For example, if I turn my kitchen oven on and set it to 350, it will beep when it is preheated to 350. If I then change the temperature to 400, it will again beep when it hits the temperature. Does Slic3r have a feature or mode where you can intentionally randomize the per-layer print pattern for vertical stacks of layers with identical geometry? I've been making some prints with thin features - taller vertical cells with single line walls... sometimes two-line walls. Ahh, yes, I had forgotten that most of the inexpensive kits are based on rods instead of rails. And once you get to a kit substantial enough to use linear rails, you're going to be spending quite a bit more, and still not necessarily going to get four of them like your design requires. Is it the weekend yet? This may be one of those interesting designs where the most economical way to build it is to buy a full kit for a different printer, then just use those parts as the vitamins for this one.
