The 3dsystems SLA machines used a laser to measure the resin height. The time of flight might be an issue for a small height differential though. Assuming it is the resin height that you want to know: I think if you put a capacitive sensor on the z carriage you could have the machine "probe" the resin height without too many modifications, assuming that the resin shows enough of a differenceby Bluemonkey - General
Is it 1 year or 2 years ? I think it's from the filing date rather than the priority date but the priority date makes more sense.by Bluemonkey - General
Quoteboredom.is.me Are their cuts good to go as is? Normally they are, at least from Misumi GMBH but all the extrusions I have looked at from them also offer a high tolerance cutting option of ±0.2mm - it is about €6 extra per extrusion here.by Bluemonkey - Extruded Aluminum Frames
I think the EU patent register shows the European patent was abandoned in various countries in 2009 : From my reading this is probably because the patent needs to be translated into the host countries language to be valid there. I think this explains why some companies in some European countries are able to make what look like infringing machines, I assume they cannot sell them outside thesby Bluemonkey - General
Both Vshaper with their 500 and Roboze with the Argo 500 seem to be making machines ( or at least announced ) with a heated build chamber, and the Vshaper clearly has bellows to isolate the chamber.by Bluemonkey - General
It's silicone coated fibreglass I think, it's what they say it is in one of the patents anyway - and the specification shows it is suitable to 260c I am looking to build something similar at the moment, the only part I'm not sure about are the chamber fans. Can you tell if they are oven fans ? I.e. The fan is in the hot part and the motor is external to that ? Anything else you have seen thatby Bluemonkey - General
