Hello all. I'm getting desperate and don't know what to try anymore, and hopefully someone has ideas which could help. Since I switched to a Hemera extruder, I had to trade off my Orion for a universal PCB (v2.85) with 4 andromedas. I used the underbed brackets found on Thingiverse and referred to in the documentation, which I integrated in a corner bracket fitting my bed. For the life of me Iby Arakahn - General
Quotehan45 Hi guys, I'm using the Piezo Orion on a E3D V6 setup with a bowden extruder and it works really well. Now I ordered an E3D Hemera and I want to use the Orion with that. Is there any chance to make it work? Maybe use the Orion vertically between the Hemera and it's mounting plate to detect the touch on the build plate? Any pointers on what I can do are welcomed. I second that. Been uby Arakahn - General
@Moriquendi Thank you for your suggestions. Actually I printed a new hot end holder to use the screwed top instead of a clamp and it eliminated most of the vibration induced triggers so I was able to drastically increase the sensitivity, that makes me very happy! I also changed it to P8 and dive height of 2mm as you recommended and it works great! I really love this thing. Now if you'll excusby Arakahn - General
Hi there, First off great sensor; I couldn't stand my BL Touch clone anymore. Now I'm running into issues and need to pick your brains. My current printer (DIY) is running on a single leadscrew (to be upgraded to dual soon), and the issue is that when it probes the right side of the bed it goes lower into the bed before it triggers as there is less resistance (the carriage goes up since there iby Arakahn - General
In MatterHackers I got this in the log though, don't know if it helps <-Error: Printer halted. kill() called! ->N311 M114*36by Arakahn - Printing
Sadly there isn't, which is why I'm so exasperated (see attached)by Arakahn - Printing
Help! Building my first printer, and every time I try to home any axis (or start a print job for that matter), I get this error when the axis arrives at it's home position. I have no mechanical endstop, using a MKS GEN1.4 board. Attached here is my config and my printer settings in Repetier Host. If anyone is able to help I'll be eternally grateful!by Arakahn - Printing
