something growing under my X carriage - 12 years ago
so, i have this fiberglass crystal like stuff growing around my hotend. it started after i went from abs to pla. my hotend is leaking, so im thinking it has something to do with that.by glrra19 - General

this company also makes giant mendels they look like normal mendels only bigger. on y axis lash: is it better to have a shorter belt? cause i think if you mount the y motor and idler inboard of the frame (there should be enough room for this on a mondo) then that would make it a little shorter.by glrra19 - General

ok broke my y pulley, so ive robbed one off my prusa. im going from 8 to 12 teeth i can do the math i just cant get it to save right or something. or do i upload? orca3, gen6 arduino marlin pronterfaceby glrra19 - General

yeah i found 246 but when im in adrunio and i click on file, open it allways goes to the marlin folder: id show them to you but i cant copy them none end in .pde thoby glrra19 - General

im using a dualcore Athlon winXP it used to be a decent gamer rig. what im worried about is when i start messing with the frimware settings that ill mess up my orca. im prolly gonna wait to use my prusa untill i can get a backup computer working. ill have to figure this out sooner or later, im building #3 now.by glrra19 - General

ok, i hve an orca3 and a MGprusa and i would like to run them from the same computer. im using com3 for the orca, i figured i could just use com1 for the prusa. is this ok? also, im having the worst time with the prusa. the orca was almost easy compared to how long its taken me to get this far. i dont know why you guys hate gen6 so much, ive found it to be pretty good. i just had to use trail aby glrra19 - General

hi, im trying to finish my makergear prusa kit and i want to use power for laptops to power my ramps. i know 1 has to be 12v 11a and the other has to be 12v 5a is this correct? i cant figure out how to use a pc powersupply from the videos and i don't like it anyway.by glrra19 - General

hi, i have SF41 and i would like to somehow reduce or ''thin out" the support material. i have found it to be very difficult to remove sometimes. i was thinking about unchecking support cross hatch. otherwise my settings are: 1.0 1.0 everywhere 60.0 orca3, .35 nozzle, .26 layer, abs or, should i update my SF and pronterface? what do u guys think?by glrra19 - General

ok, first let me apologize for my opensource comment. i did get 2 files to print. the 100mm square with the X inside it and an orca3 extruder set. i belive these work because my skienforge can determine how much filament is used in these prints but most of the time this is what i get in pronterface: Oops, can not read floatRetraction Distance (millimeters): False Dimension procedure took 2 seconby glrra19 - General

i have an orca 3, ardunio, pronterface. i can extrude when its just sitting there by pressing the extrude button but as soon as i try to print something it just dribbles out a little then nothing. it allways says: "2.0 mm of filament used for this print" i can't see how this could possibly be right. also, the temp of my nozzle goes down right after i start a print. i know many people seem to havby glrra19 - General
