Hi Andrew, I would be interested in show casing my new design that was derived from the Prusa Air2. The only thing that is Prusa Air2 is the fact that I have used an acrylic frame of similar shape, everything else is home designed and home made. The main parts are powder coated aluminium, Z nuts are hand machined on a lathe, linear bearings throughout. Many additional extras to make life comfortby regpye - Look what I made!
Hi Ash, I build a machine that is similar to your Prusa Air2. I am building my ninth one now with several improvements. The frame is similar as it was derived from the Air2, but everything else is different. The frame was laser cut from acrylic, the plastic printed parts on mine are laser cut aluminium and powder coated. The Z nuts are hand machined zero backlash. I am using Marlin and also a Printrboard rev D. The host software is Pronterface. The reason I feel that the problem must be with the settings is because I can take the thermistor that is being used for the hotend that is working OK and plug it into the heatbed thermistor socket, that is when I get the error message. If I plug in the thermistor for the heatbed I still get the same message. Bothby regpye - Firmware - mainstream and related support
I have just finished building a printer and it is working fine except for one issue. When I plug in the thermistor for the heatbed I get this error message scrolling continuously; Error: : Extruder switched off. MINTEMP triggered ! Errorrinter halted. kill() called !! I had a similar problem and found the answer after looking carefully at what I had. I found that the spring between the nuts was getting caught in the hole of the printed plastic part that retains the nuts and spring. To overcome the problem, I took the assembly apart one side at a time, and with a small pair of pliers I opened up the spring diameter at each end a little, so now the spring has laby regpye - General
Problem fixed, all working well now. I re-installed services packs 1 and 2 for NetFramework 3.5 Thanks for the assistance. Great program.by regpye - Repetier
Thanks, I will make sure of that, however I just installed 3.5 and 4, so it should be up to date, but I will check anyway. Would memory be an issue? How much memory is required to function properly?by regpye - Repetier
New computer installation with Windows XP Pro. Installed Repetier and it is working fine until I try to connect my printer. As soon as I select my printer the software crashes. I have tried many times and each time I select the printer to use - crash. Anyone got any ideas what could be wrong? Everything else with Repetier seems to work fantastically.by regpye - Repetier
