Hallo Leute, ich arbeite seit paar Tagen an einem Eventorbot. Mit der Elektronik und Machanik bin fast durch.... Nur die Plastik-Teile und den Rahmen machen mir Kopfschmerzen! Für den Rahmen werde ich einen Schlosser beauftragen...Nun bleibt die Sache mit den Plastik-Teilen zu erledigen. Anbei eine Zip-Datei mit den STL-Daten, die zu drucken sind. Good to hear that. Now I understand what you mean. I understand that an Additive manufacturing device is a well known machine in the US but this is not the case in Europe or Africa...or ....That s why I said this, I think it is not too late for the other continents...The Other reason is that, because it is very new here, when people ask me what I am building and I say "a 3D printer that printsby zacbot - General

I posted it here because I saw a thread related to it but lost the link. The bugs contained in language.h are not hardware related. But you get compiling problems if you activate a language other than english (for example to be used in a display) If you find the information useless, let me know so I remove it.by zacbot - General

I don t understand why this machine has been given the name of "3D Printer". If the name was correctly chosed, we wouldn't t have such subjects to discuss. If we want to compare old and new technology, than please compare them based on their purpose or function and not based on their names. I wanted to change the Display language to German. So I changed in file language.h the following line: #define LANGUAGE_CHOICE 1 ---> #define LANGUAGE_CHOICE 4 And compiled but with errors. Then I tried all other available languages. No one will compile, except English. I noticed that the type of errors change, it depends which language was selected! Reprap Forum didn t help either. I think I had two problems at the same time, which is not good for a noob... Problem 1: The cable for the motor furnished with the RepRapDiscount_Smart_Controller. The blue and red wire are inversed, why, I don t know. The hint came from RAMPS 1.4 RepRapwiki where it is stated to wire from left to right, all of the stepper motor's wires as red, blue, green, and black or red, green, yellow, blueby zacbot - RAMPS Electronics
