Thank you both for the replies. I will try to do a more detailed calibrating. I have tryed but problably not with the correct models. I do have a fan, but its about 10cm from the hotend, as i didnt found a way to fix it yes. should that be the problem? where should i point directly the fan? what part of the hotend?by Crux - General

I'm back I forgot to say, what i am trying to print is this whistle: Here is the third test, with 0.3 layer height - and here is my fourth test, and the filament seems to stop or something similar. I had to cancel the print: So, what is wrong here? any thoughts?by Crux - General

Sorry here is first print: here is second print: I am printing at the moment a 3rd test at layer 0.3 and some improvements i found on the net will post the results later about the configuration.h, here it is: i reduced infill speed, and put a higher hotend temperature for this 3rd test. i am gonna post the results here in few minutes. print speed is 30mm/s and temperature is on 200° hoby Crux - General

Hi. Today I had my first print. It was not good. This is my first print that for some reason moved the printed part. I had to cancel it. Why could this happen? And this is my second print. For some reason, the top layers were not printed inside, but the outside top layers were printed. They just didnt fill inside. Why could this be? And why are the outside lines so visible? slicer? what is that? I didnt get a successfull print yet. Sorry for being a noob sorry if the question seems stupid I recorded a litle video, showing the print about 20mm above the glass, even with the Z home touching the flass as supposed. here is the video # EDIT: and here is the video since the start of printing. Thank you for the reply. This is the default for that line: #define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT {78.7402,78.7402,200.0*8/3,760*1.1} I have successfully configured X Y and Z steps, so this is whay i currently have: #define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT {80,80,4000,760*1.1} So, all i am missing is the formula to calculate the correct steps for the E motor. Hi. I have finally finish buiilding my prusa i3. On my first print with PLA, the extruder is too slow. Why is that? Could anyone help me fix it? I am using wade's reloaded extruder and gadgets3d buda-style hotend. This could be a firmware problem? if yes, the configuration.h on my marlin is in Sorry if this is a easy answer. Hi. I am wondering: Do we really need fans? The ramps need fan? The hotend needs fan? Why not using kapton tape instead? I am confused if i should install fans in my almost finished prusa i3 printer. Thanks in advance.by Crux - General

I just found out that extruder should only work on higher hot end temperatures. I have not think about that. I will try that today. But heated bed is not working. problem remains. Any idea why is this? Ia it firmware related? I am using exact firmware as in this link: Should any addition configuration be made on the firmware? Any tuturial on this?by Crux - General

Hi. I bought the mega kit on gadgets3d. I installed everything and I got movement first time yesterday. But I get no response at all from heated bed. And from the extruder motor I can test it by switching the wires to the y axis and it extrudes filament, but not on the extruder place. What could it be?
