Hi all, Please note that I have just updated the listings (http://www.emakershop.com/Seller=1324) to reflect lower shipping costs in the UK. I have also created ABS+Masterbatch combined listings which effectively give you the Masterbatch shipping included (For all destinations). I have been refunding people in the past, but as this may have been putting some of you off I decided to create combiby CraigRK - For Sale
Quotecallumburns Ouch the UK one is really expensive. Would take you years to save money with it. Seeing as it takes a day to make 1kg of filament. I agree, it does seem quite expensive. Greg, It might help if you stated which country (& state/province) you are in, as the cheapest option would typically be someone near you. I think this is a great idea and will be following it with interest. I have been following (and participating on the fringe) the RepRap movement for years now. As with many others, my personal commitments have meant that I have contributed less than I'd like. Hi DeuxVis, Thanks for the interest. The following thread (http://www.soliforum.com/topic/2123/colorants-masterbatch/) has many pictures showing what is possible to achieve with the Filastruder in terms of colour consistency. Results with other extruders may vary as the technology is still in it's infancy. I have not run colours through my own Filastruder yet as I trouble with the power supplby CraigRK - For Sale

Hi, others will insist that the best thing to do is to use the beta value for the thermistor and the available python script to generate a table. They're probably right as they're more experienced people that me. I however struggled the same as you and decided to build my own table experimentally. My 2cents worth: I personally think it will be quite a while before 3 printers are mainstream. I don't think the issue isn't so much with being able to make a printer which almost anyone one setup/install/print to. Some of these already exist. Thanks, appreciate the comments. I agree that it will probably mean a move to 1.75mm filament to keep things lighter. I have been searching the net, but most Mendel90 builds I can find are form Nophead's kits, so pretty much standard, and others are from before the kit days, but still pretty much standard.
