With no power connected to the board or printer. Use the diode or continuity setting on a multimeter and place on probe on the power connections and the other on the case or any metal part. If you get a beep or zero on the meter then check there are no metal parts touching. You can do this between any 2 points anywhere on the printer, main points will be the power connections to the metal work,by orictosh - Ormerod

Hi, I found this method after having problems with blue painters tape. Having level bed and a good Z height setting is the first step Buy some PVA glue, apply thin layer to cold piece of glass, turned on the heated bed Once it becomes clear you can start the print. When the print is done, turn off heated bed and wait for temp to drop to about 30-45 deg c and print will pop off. If you need to reby orictosh - General
QuoteTreito Hi all, but what about the Extruder? Don't forget this one. The hobbed insert is hard to get and when you get it the price is high. QuoteTreito The common problem is that the connection gets lost. I use a soldered connection and everything is fine. The problem is that the micro switch used is not designed to be used in it's current location. Upon my machine it's a 3 pin one with the middle pin level with the centre of the Y stepper motor, so that wires go around each side of the shaft and attached to the top and bottom pins.by orictosh - Ormerod

Hi Sven, Looking at your first picture, it seems that the kapton tape is over the white labels. This causes problems with the probe sensor readings jumping up and down.
