took my nozzle off the e3d to clean as little clogged got a 1mm drill bit poking the plastic and drawing it out was heating and then the drill bit snapped think due to the heat poked it a little but cant get anything in as the gap as small any ideas on how to fetch out

will check later as run printer off lcd not done via usb for a while sure its on y min on ramps as not long unpluged and put all back together

the z anx x axis home fine etc but everytime the y axis homes iit makes this noise as if i keeps going had it since had the machine endstop wired up and led shows when hit se you video link

hi not surer if anyone else done but measured eletric power printer is using and heres my results if printer is idle 11.3 watts whick cost typicaly 9p per 30 minutes heating up and using printer inc heatbed and hotend ramps etc 146watts average max certain points 152 watts =1.11 per 30mins so turned heatbed off at first layer 3 quick perimeters and 45 watts =34p per 30 mins so conclusion heate

ok thanks both fans come on off with the slicer sortware so if i separate the e3d fan on the heatsink where do i wire this to on my ramps 1.4 or can i wire to the power supply some say you dont need fan on for abs even mine come on after 2 layers currently ok will dissconect the print fan as using abs a lot and sort the esd when het new heatthroat have a spare heatsink will use that too and hop

another thing i forgot on my prusa i3 have the fan on heatsink from e3d also theres a fan that runs with the e3d at the front too is this right do i need it

new heat throat 16 inc delivery but dont want i t to bend break again the fan comes on after layers but when i got on 100% all the time could never get it uptp 230 for abs any ideas i have a new fan too as bought some genuine e3d spares from someone selling there printer bits should the fan be operating all the time

the e3d blocks regulary most of time manually push sometimes have to remove and use acertone and heatup etc anyone else have these problems and if any better hotends are avalable or reccomended i got to order a new thermol heat shield as mine has bend do you know what size it is

to start with the new 3d prusa i3 came woth a roll or pla which was not too bad a few clogs occasionally went to supplied abs and had nothing but problems clogs prints stop heat issuess and after many checks alterations new parts and not getting very much furter decied to try and made by rigid.ink and i have had 3 succsful prints no clogs no prints stopping no warping lifiting off beds so just

solved put new bowden and tube on and was better got further with pla then it got stuck in tube so now changed to abs had with printer and so far its ok so presube abs filiment is rubish that came with it the trouble is this is what i was supplied when bought the abs is by rigid.ink so should be ok now thoughrunning at 265 print the first layer is rubbish but the rest ok any ideas help bed i

prusa i3 genuine e3d v6 hotend it gets stuck after a few layers it stops where the threaded piece attaches hotend to heatsink so have to unblock then it all happens again pla at205 celsus

pla extrudes throgh the ptfe tub e igf i take off the heatsink as soon as put it all together and try extruding as soon as it reachs the hotend it stops extruding making a knocking noice at top of extruder feed the nozzle and everthing s clean as can see straight through temp is up as well more than normal so whys it not extrudeing

secand print turned heat down but missed a few bits in letters and just after the L and below B the letters it did not do the same fill as all the rest any help i also have abs and what i do o i ujse ab instead of pla e.g do i need to increase extruder and bed temp is tis all

after fially getting the print working need help using pla at quoted 240 hotend anf 65 bed not sure on rest printed model is currect dimensions so all the axis are alligned look in pics why it came out like this using e3d v6 bowden

still having problem with thermistor reading 208 degrees celsus when hotend cold i have a mks 2z v1.1 board can i configure in firmware for it to use the other port on the board as have 3 the middle one is for bed thermistor and one is used for thermistor o currently so can it put in the other port and configure to see if the board may be at fault

well sending the pt100 back and getting refund for item and postage due to the wiman on phone being wrong is there and otherthings in firmware that could be at error if i change the thermister numer the value on the lcd changes but when put back to 5 it becomes the same as before could the board be at fault i set slicer up to print at 240 to print and it extruder ok

i just tried preheating abs as this is set to 240 even though the lcd did not change from 208 the hotend fells very hot

right bought new thermistor solded and heatshrinked fitted to hotend and still the same any ideas 208 degrees bed heats up fine the only thing i tried its 05 for the thermistor in marlin i changed to 1 it wen t to 245 so put back to 5 as this is the resistor i have

rang today and there not there so got ring tommorow but the womon on the phone said you should not have any problems connecting it
