I would like to know how to make/ have made, and stencil that is 3d printable of the attached STL. Is it possible? How can I do it? Thank you in advance.by veaceonee - Let's design something! (I've got an idea ...)
QuoteCanadian Geek I just wanted to pass on a little tip for those in North America (I don't know if this vehicle is sold elsewhere - let me know). Go to your local auto wrecking yard and find any Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth van. In the lower track for the rear sliding doors is a wire/cable chain of the exact size we need for our printers. QuoteAccidentalWisdom Anybody have a good source for the screws, washers and nuts for the Migbot? Looking for the Hex type Socket Cap head in silver color, if possible. Quotespinracing Quotespinracing Did a test print last night, and ran it at 50mm, 50 percent infill, and no skips now that things are lighter. Gonna kick off another couple more complex prints and see what i get. Dont mean to be wierd quoting myself. I just wanted to have context to this print. At 50MM I had ZERO skips. Does anyone know if this will work for our printers to enlarge the bed? It attaches the same way, and is the same width as the standard bed, so it SHOULD work. Bed upgradeby veaceonee - Prusa i3 and variants
QuoteWes78 A heads up to those thinking about running or about to run an alum plate in place to the plastic one, after doing so i started skipping steps when printing, i thought maybe it would become an issue and it did. I had to slow the acceleration down a bit (in the FW) and i up'ed the amps via the pot screw going to the motor, im pretty sure im over amping the motor now, witch i think im gby veaceonee - Prusa i3 and variants
QuoteAccidentalWisdom Quote3DST AccidentalWisdom, Looks like 1. Your Z-Gap is way too high. The reason your first layer seems to coming out fine is probably due to the "First Layer Height" is "squishing" the print a lot. However, on the second and subsequent layers, it goes back to 100%... and there is too much separation between your layers. 2. You are printing relatively slow. Which, inby veaceonee - Prusa i3 and variants
I have my machine slowed WAY down in the firmware and print speed set to 60 mm/sec, to the point it takes almost 30 hrs to do a 23 hr print (per Cura). However, quality is high for the machine that it is. The Migbot is a good machine, but it does take a lot of work to get all the bugs out, and it can be quite finicky.by veaceonee - Prusa i3 and variants

Quotegwc2795 Quoteveaceonee Any idea why the LCD goes all fritzy during prints? Does it every time about 5 minutes into the print. Still prints ok. When it does it measure the 5V line to make sure you are not having a voltage drop. forgive the noobness, which one is that?by veaceonee - Prusa i3 and variants

Quoterowdyjoe Another issue ....I can't get the extruder nozzel at the correct height for printing.
