@the_digital_Dentist - Kinda like the same way that an air/mist feed would clear chips from a CNC/Lathe/Mill I had thought about that option I didn't think of using a Fish Tank Pump though. Thanks for the advice.by Rlewisrlou666 - Reprappers

Oh I will be having lights and LED fans. Old PSU's and the PC Custom Lighting Kits are so cheap now it would be silly not to really. I'm thinking more along the lines of making the actual frame a different colour once its finished. It would be nice to have a Red outer Frame and Black Axis Frames without having to rely on Plastic Printed Parts adding the colour. I'm just getting my brain working to try and figure out ways of doing things that would make my printer more streamline. something that covers the Nozzle/Nozzles but lets the air pass to the print in a more uniform way rather than just blasting the whole print with cold air.by Rlewisrlou666 - Reprappers

Hi guys and girls, Has anyone experimented with Anodising Extruded Aluminum or does anyone in the U.K. Know of somewhere that can Anodise in colours other than black or silver? Hi Acme, If you are thinking about building something to handle the forces of even a dremel head you would probably need to start off building a complete box frame. The build platform would probably be best as a stable build platform. If you used tooled aluminium with pre drilled holes for mounting work while using the CNC/Mill/Laser it could also be used as a vacuum bed letting you suck all thby Rlewisrlou666 - Reprappers

Hi guys and girls. Does anyone have a decent to scale NEMA17 model? Preferably in .OBJ or really anything that can be used in Fusion360 or opened in Blender and exported out as a .OBJ. I'm trying to build my Printer in Fusion360 before actually building it so I can work out any issues or design faults before I start putting things together. When you select AutoHome from the LCD it will run the AutoHome command but if it is already in your default Gcode to AutoHome at the start of a print it will always run twice. Once manually and once Automatically at the start of the print. As for the filament extruding to much you should be able to change your flow settings.by Rlewisrlou666 - General

Hi there all, I'm just starting out building my printer on a tight budget anyone with old kit/parts laying about gathering dust or bit and bobs you bought and didn't like or they didn't work. @deckingman - There must be a way to do something it is such a shame to have to use a substandard blanket on what is otherwise an amazing piece of kit. Is there a Build Schematic available online? I'd be more than happy to try to figure something out or a way you could shield the heatsinks without using fire blanket. I didn't mean if the end stops are triggering when you hit them to stop moving I meant do they possibly have a loose connection. Aside from that it looks like you are missing steps. How have you connected the stepper motors drive shaft?by Rlewisrlou666 - Reprappers

Here I am thinking large scale and about my soon to be wonderful collection of helmets and masks that I've always wanted and now I'm thinking of building 2 printers one for micro prints and one for Macro prints. Has anyone tried drilling Nozzles in a pin vice by hand it might be slow going but I know they sell kits on most Wargame model supplier stores they use them for pinning customised parts onto models.by Rlewisrlou666 - General

I wish I had signed up to here sooner I just had my delivery of Aluminium frame and I paid about £10 per meter on eBay from wedo3dprinting. Ah well you live and learn I suppose now I know it can be had for much cheaper.by Rlewisrlou666 - Extruded Aluminum Frames
