Hi DC42 Ok I will do that and tune that in. Thank you. One question thou. Is there a way of adding a wait command in the resume file that can be put before move part, but after the extruded 10mm to allow the nozzle to be cleaned of surplus? Hmm just thought if it’s tuned right there would not be any, but it would be a bonus in the tuning of it or not?by Dunston-UK - Duet
Hi DC42 Sorry if I came over wrongly in my wording. It’s a request if it can be done. I am sure there are far more important things to get done than to pamper to one person. Yes I would like it but not at a cost to other more important improvements. Thanksby Dunston-UK - Duet

Is there no way that information can be displayed? because not everyone knows including me that you could look into a file for it, or is it too difficult to get something like that done?by Dunston-UK - Duet
Hi All When you pause your print, the WEBUI reports the wrong position for the point it was paused from, what it is showing you is the present position ie with +5 added to the head, this is important when you're trying to splice failed prints at the fail point. Let us say you have a 24-hour print and at the 14-hour point its clear your print for any number of reasons is not going to finish frby Dunston-UK - Duet
Hi All When you resume from pause it moves over to the print resume point and then extrudes a lot of filament before proceeding from the stop point, this leads to a big blob on your print at that point, how can this be stopped or can this be changed to make it extrudes from the pause home position and then wait for you yo press print again to make it then move to the resume point with out droppinby Dunston-UK - Duet

@DC42. Can this be fixed or repaired by a bridge in some way it also took the diode in front of the second PWM fan header with it, TR9. @ looking more at the board it also looks like TR9 took a hit as well. I would gladly pay someone £40 / £50 to fix it if they could.by Dunston-UK - Duet

Hi No doubt it’s been said before about sensors. Has there or is there a filament sensor that both detects runout and blockage? Had anyone got one who can share their experiences with them. I have just recently changed from Titan to BMG and I am having blockages where the BMG eats through the filament at the same temps as the Titan would not. The Titan would just click away until interventby Dunston-UK - General

QuoteMoriquendi There's no problem with signal available from the piezos, in fact we have to take precautions to prevent a hard trigger from causing a damaging voltage spike. QuoteAlmostNeverAgain Hi Simon and Idris, Building a custom cartesian printer, I was about to buy your piezo20, but I see your multi ceram Orion, and I don't know the advantage buying this one instead of that one. Could you please clarify by comparing both ? On the cartesian side, the Z travel is more restricted than of a delta, and every Z centimeter counts ! G-Code Files Web Interface. Hello One and All. I have noticed on my system that when I upload a file via the Curl Command-------------- curl -F "file=@" "http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/rr_upload?name=gcodes/.gcode" it does not show up in the G-Codes Files section until I go up a directory and then back down. It appears to not refresh its Dir structure on the SD card. This may well be by design.by Dunston-UK - Duet
Mine appears as if there is no layer adhesion, It has now come apart 3 times all in the neck area. Maybe a bad batch of parts I don't know, its just frustrating lol. trying to print a replacement.by Dunston-UK - General
Hello Idris, Do you have the cad files, as altering an STL is a bit like butchering something blindly, it's never going to be right? As to where its loose, if you have a V6 which I am sure you will have, measure its groove head, that fits the BMG and Titan perfectly. Also is there a reason for the indent in the underside of the cap of the groove mount, as this is where mine has separated, it'sby Dunston-UK - General
HI Where are the STL or better still the step files for the Precision Piezo Orion groove mount, the one supplied is too loose with a BMG so I wanted to redo the collar for a tighter fit, and also in the Titan its loose as well. Thanksby Dunston-UK - General

Quotedc42 It sounds to me like a wiring issue. Have you connected the endstop switches to the Duet as described at ? Is the centre pin of each endstop connector feeding +3.3V to the endstop switches? Hi dc42 I am running Version 1.20RC2 and the new web and Wifi. Hi dc42 Same result. I know the probe works as it came off the previous mks 1.4 baseboard, I have also tried a brand new one, and a china clone. It is really annoying. Hi All. I am new to the Duet Side. I had been using a MksBase1.4 with 24v a RaspberryPi running Octoprint a dedicated 5v PSU for the raspberry and a relay to turn off and on the printer automatically. I understand that you can use an SSR with a Monetary switch in parallel can be used to turn OFF the printer after use manually, but not automatically.
