@dc42: thanks for the reply! one thing i find confusing is that the gcode console in DWC does not show the same information that the PanelDue seems to give. is there a way to make them the same or one them more verbose to see all the info going by? the checksum errors- can you give me any hints as to where to look for the likely sources of the checksum errors? at least to determine if its soby sinned - Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
I did get it finally work- 1. Yes, you are right, the baudrate needs to be 57600. M575 P1 B57600 S1 2. QuoteMicktol I put "lpc.uartPanelDueMode = true; //Enable PanelDue Support" as the first entry in my boards.txt file. You can check if it enabled with the M122 P200 output, to see this use the usb connection with the serial monitor in arduino ide. QuoteDark AlchemistWill this work - ? Yes that will work. But you should go through the configuration files after you generate them to verify and tweak things. What kind of printer are you trying to configure? What are your endstops? What are your drivers? Those are probably the 2 things that take the longest. QuoteDark Alchemist I have only tried Marlin not RRF as I am too scared to try RRF since Marlin 2.0 almost broke my bed and my 50 dollar boroglass when it just decided to crash into my nozzle and my hotend bend up and the bed bent down before I could stop it. edit: M119 is always spot on and when I finally turned the power off to stop it M119 shows Z to be TRIGGERED. 1. take the boroglass off iby sinned - Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
@Dark Alchemnist - are really homing at F6000, that is 100mm/s for Z, that seems a aweuly quite high. what was your M203 and M201 set to? put your configs on pastebin and link them here. what kind of endstop are you using? is it a mechanical switch or an optical sensor or hall effect switch. since this behavior existed in Marlin as well as in RRF, you might want to debug the sensor and caby sinned - Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future

@Dark Alchemist I do have an SKR 1.3 running RRF on it as well. I have not tried the latest binary on it yet though. I am making some hardware mods to that printer right now. LCD may work natively with latest binary. Else, you might have to make a few jumper wires. What stepper drivers are you using? I get some random flakiness from DWC - the browser window will say "Lost Connection" but wont re-establish until I reset the board. @Skytter & enif - Quoteenif Have you made sure that the pins labeled D20 and D21 on your schematic are indeed D20 and D21, e.g. by running the blink sketch on these pins and measuring the voltage on the pins? I can not get this figured out, it's driving me nuts. I don't remember it being this hard. This is the board I am using - I am fairly confident that I made the edits in the files right, but I get no display at all. i'm stuck on adapting this too. i was trying to use this with the MKS BASE 1.3 that is the controller for my Turnigy Fabrikator Mini V1.5, a Tinyboy derivative. Painful confession: I was ordering some consumable stuff from Triangle Lab (bowden tube, open belting, nozzles, bowden adapter and clips, all known good from previous buying experiences) saw that they had cloned the 2.75 and impulsed bought one to trigger another coupon. I have tried to map out an example pinout for the RepRap Discount 12864 Full Graphic Display. From looking at the hardware and documentation that I have access to (RreArm, SKR 1.1, 1.3, a few GLCD's) and looking at other people's hardware experiences, the only 'standard' is that there is no standard!
