Ok thank you. I will check this and revert back to you if this works or not. Can you please help me in other problems as well?by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
Dear all, I am facing following issues in my Hypercube 3D printer: 1) I am using Hypercube 3D printer. Whenever I prints, my object gets printed as mirrored object. So I tried to invert directions of X & Y motor. But it won't work. When I inverted directions of motors, I get to know that whenever I move one axis, my nozzel head moves in 2 directions at the same time. which is not correct.Howby pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
I am using Mega 2560, ramps 1.4, reprap full graphics controller, 12V SMPS for my 3D printer My display don't turn ON without USB connected to laptop. With USB connected to my laptop, Voltage in dispay pins (Exp1 GND and VCC) is 4.7 V and without USB connected to laptop Voltage is 0 V. so now what should I do? How can I connect automatically to Printer using only dispay without using my laptop?by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
With USB connected, Voltage is 4.7 V and without USB connected Voltage is 0 V. so now what should I do? One thing I observed that when I simply plug in the USB to laptop, display gets 4.7V but still it doesn't shows any text until I click "Connect" in pronterface. What does this mean? How can I connect automatically to Printer without using pronterface?by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
There are many pins through which power goes to display. Accross which pin I need to measure voltage? If there is difference between reading with USB and without USB , what does that mean?by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
How can I check the voltage going for reprap full graphics controller is correct or not? And if it is lower then how can I resolve this? The issue which I am facing is this because of Marlin settings or purely hardware/electric issue?by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
When I connect my USB to laptop and give prints to 3d printer from laptop, then only my display works/I can control printing using display. But as soon as I remove USB my printing gets OFF and display aslo goes OFF. What could be the reason? I am using mega2560, ramps1.4, reprap full graphics controller,12V power supply for my 3D printer. I check my voltage braker of Arduino connecting USB to lby pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
My 12 V pins on ramps1.4 shows 12v correctly but 5v pins on ramps1.4 shows low voltage. What could be the reason for this? Is this the reason for my display doesn't work without connecting to the Computer? How can I verify the voltage going to the reprap ful; graphics display?by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
My display works only when I connect cable to my laptop. But just by simply turn ON the power supply my display don't work. Is this because of voltage problem. If yes, how can I check my voltage going into the display and how can I control that? Where this voltage regulator to adjust voltage. I am using ramps 1.4 and aurdino mega 2560. Please give me suggestions on this. THANKS IN ADVANCEby pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
Thank you for your suggestions. My display works only when I connect cable to my laptop. But just by simply turn ON the power supply my display don't work. You said that it is because of voltage problem. so how can I check my voltage going into thr display and how can I control that? Where this voltage regulator to adjust voltage. I solved my axis movement problem. Actually my z steps was 4000 so I set that to 400. And now I am getting exact movement. Thanks for your help and time given to me. But that EEPROM version problem still there.by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
For more clarification, I am using lead screw for z axis of 4 start and pitch is 2.by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
I installed Marlin 2.0 as per your suggestion. 1) But again same problem persists. Even more strange is happening. E.g. G21; G1 x0.5 y0.5 z0.5 ; in this my X and y axis moves by 12.7. cm each and z-axis moves by 0.5 cm. 2) And one more issue came is that of EPROM i.e. EEPROM version mismatch (MEPROM=V56 Marlin=V76) How to resolve these issue. Please help me.by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
Yes I am using ramps 1.4 and mega 2560by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
I will try to use marlin 2 now. But will that resolve my both issues? 1) I am using mm unit system only. My X and y axis moves in mm but z axis moves in cm. Is this issue because of marlin version? 2) for my display issue, what you said I didn't understand. Can you please elaborate little bit. What should I do so that my LCD will work without connecting to my laptop.by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
Yes I have display. But when I connect USB to my laptop then only LCD turns ON, but by just simply turn on the power supply, my LCD don't glow. Also text on LCD are discontinuous. I don't know why this is happening. In command window when I connect to pronterface, it says SD card ok. Currently I am facing two issues: 1) unit system for axis 2) about LCD displayby pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
Yes I checked with G20 also When I entered, G20; G1x0.5y0.5z1; Then my X and Y axis moves by 12.7cm each and z axis moves by 25.4 cm Need suggestions on this.waiting for your prompt reply Thank you.by pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
I am using Marlin-bugfix -1.1.xby pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
I defined "Inch_mode_support" in marlin. And used G21 in my code. Then also my Z axis takes values in cm instead of mm. However my X and Y axis takes values in mm only. Refer examples below: Eg.1 G21; G1 x100 y100 z0.2; When I run this, my X and y axis moves by 100mm each and my z axis moves by 0.2cm i.e 2mm. Eg.2 G21; G1 x100 y100 z0.02; Now my z axis moves by 0.2mm I don't know why thisby pvishalp19 - Firmware - Marlin
Now I solve that negative temperature issue. My hotend thermister wires were touching each other. But again problem didnt solved completely. Bed thermister shows 10 degree celcius but hotend thermister shows 26 degree celcius. Hotend is showing higher reading. What to do in this case?by pvishalp19 - Printing
There are 12v connection available in ramps board. When I connect hotend or bed heating connection to that 12v pins , immediately heating starts. But when I connect to d8 and d10, and when I give the gcode command as you mentioned, they won't get heated up.by pvishalp19 - Printing
But what about heatbed? It is reading 26 degree celcius but there is no heating when I connect it to the D8. But When I connect it directly to the 12V it gets heat up but thermister reading won't changes, Please guide meby pvishalp19 - Printing
Hello sir, I have build one hypercube printer. I am trying to resolve one issue of hotend and heating bed. When I try to give print an error comes saying that " heating failed , system stopped, heater id 0 . Printer halted kill() called." I don't know what's wrong in this? When I connect extruder and heating bed directly to the 12 volts it's getting heated. But when I connect it to the D10 andby pvishalp19 - Printing
