Help with Prusa Mendel z-axis configuration - 12 years ago

Hi, I finally have my Prusa Mendel built and started with the calibration of the moving parts. For some reason my z-axis is moving only about half the distance that it was intended to ? The movement doesn't seem to get stuck anywhere. This setting allows my z-axis to move up and down the correct distance. // X, Y, Z, E steps per unit - Metric Prusa Mendel with Wade extruder: //#define _AXIS_S

Spare Pololu Stepper Carriers - 12 years ago

Hi, Does anyone in the Vancouver / Richmond area have 2 spare Pololu stepper carriers for sale? I could pick up ASAP. Just wanted to check locally before I order them online which could take 2 weeks to get here. If anyone knows of a store that sells them, please let me know. Thanks, Gary.

Hi everyone ! I am looking into building a RepRap Prusa Mendel or RepRapPro Huxley. Can someone let me know what some of the major differences are between these 2 models ? and as a beginner, which would be most appropriate for me ?
