Hallo und danke für die Antworten, das ist auf jeden Fall schon mal 'ne Unterstützung. Ausser positivem Feedback habe ich im Moment keine Idee womit mir geholfen wäre, aber vielen Dank. Ich melde mich sobald mir was einfällt. Im Moment ist noch einiges zu entscheiden und leider auch zu rechnen. Hallo, leider verzögert sich die Eröffnung noch ein wenig, da sind ein paar Sachen ein bisschen weniger glatt gelaufen als geplant Da ist mein Provider, bei dem sich weder DNS-Einträge noch subdomains verwalten lassen, weshalb hier gerade noch ein Domainumzug abgeschlossen werden muss. Zach hat auch die metrische Kompatibilität und die Kompatibilität zu den Generation 2 Electronics bestätigt. Vik hat letzte Nacht im IRC geschrieben, er hätte eine mail über ein Extruderdesign erhalten, das die Kosten reduziert und den Aufbau vereinfacht. Auf der Suche nach einer metrischen Lösung für ein Extruder-Kit habe ich eben mit Ian von Bits From Bytes gesprochen und er hat mir gesagt dass er in den nächsten Tagen ein Extruder-Kit anbieten wird. Das ist dann (wie alles von ihm) metrisch. Allerdings in der Schrittmotor-Ausführung, die er auch in seiner aktuellen Version 3 des RepRap verwendet. Der Thermistor ist die einfachste Variante und auf jeden Fall kompatibel, auch falls du das PCB dazu nicht hast mit wenig äusserer Beschaltung zum Laufen zu bringen. Big, strong DC motor könnte ein Hinweis darauf sein, dass der DC Motor Driver v1.1 nicht unbedingt die nötige Leistung bringt, werde mich um Motordaten bemühen. In my case (debian etch, java 1.5x, reprap host 0.8.3, arduino with no electronics attached and firmware upload from arduino11) all the options show the corresponding window. Sometimes "Maintenance positions" and/or "Extruder exerciser" are crashing the host software. It's about 3 months since your last post now. It also sounds like the answer could be found by reading the instructions or searching the forums. If the output of groups rsteff shows dialout additional to some other groups, you are already in and there is no need to add your user to dialout. If not you can 1. Use the mouse, go to the system preferences menu > users/groups and check modem connect for your user. (or something like that. I have now downloaded eclipse 3.4.0, no configuration changes necessary. It changed the view of the etch-eclipse 3.2.1 version but SVN browsing is still possible, in both versions. Also with eclipse > 3.3.x you will meet AVRDude if you install the AVR plugin, a really nice guyby uplift - RepRap Host

I am using etch and had the same problems using Subclipse 1.4.x and 1.2.x . I was wondering about the java-gcj message when starting eclipse from gnome-terminal, so I removed /usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj from /etc/eclipse/java_home and it worked. If this doesn't work with your machine, tell me, there are some more things I tried before.by uplift - RepRap Host

An individual object has to be created in object mode. If you add a new mesh, curve, ... after editing the first object without leaving the edit mode before, both of your "objects" will be handled as one in object mode. I do not know if this will work, haven't tried it yet. Like mentioned in the posts before I am also afraid that there is too much slack and too less pressure, and kyle too. It looks like the fluid is very viscous, the wiki extruder uses nearly the same slack but half the blade size. My mom used a mincer for cookies, sometimes she had to press on the input to keep the output. So maybe there is aby uplift - Mechanics

This is a schematic diagram of some options given by the modulary thread-washer concept. The counterrotating M5 section is only to show what might be possible, my dad came up with this idea when we were talking about ways to get more compression. The challenge was an auger from local store material. I haven't seen any 'ready to buy' version and I also was totally into my washer idea My reference was the wiki granule extruder. A threaded rod, washers and a lot of nuts, also a lot of work, but everything from the local store.The second turn would fit also, but I broke the inner ring while fastening the nuts. I used M3 threaded rod and nuts, the washers are M5x20.It is planned to fit in a 22mm copper tube with an inner diameter of 20mm. Very Nice! I was thinking about something like that too when I was looking for ways to prevent kinking of the filament. Thought it wasn't mentioned here because there might not be enough power/grip to feed the filament constantly. What's your experience in combination with a heater?by uplift - Mechanics
