Looks good. I've uploaded pictures of my machine's NEMA-23 motor mount and leadscrew pillow bearing block here: The pillow block bearings are simple 3/4" pipe hangers w/ 608 skate bearings JB-welded in place. They are significantly stronger and more durable than they look - for about $0.50 each. I used drawer slides on my machine, but I think a much better solution would be to use ground steby timschmidt - RepLab Working Group
Hey guys, I have a complete machine made entirely from store-bought parts and 1" gridbeam. Another of the Michigan RepRap group members was even able to figure out how to make respectable NEMA-23 motor mounts entirely from beam without drilling any new holes. It's buildable with just a wrench and a hacksaw - no precise measurements or cuts or holes necessary. Unfortunately, the pre-drilled beby timschmidt - RepLab Working Group
We have a Google Group set up here: We've already met once, and worked on 4 different repstraps. Stop by the group page to see the time and place for the next meet!by timschmidt - Michigan RepRap User Group
I've had my MDF repstrap running with the Gcode_interpreter firmware now for a while, I still have at least two more opto-endstops to mount before I can begin to mill things with the attached dremel and Gen 2.5 electronics. I've made significant progress on my wrench-buildable repstrap - it has a minimal BOM, with nearly all parts commonly available at local hardware stores, and is suitable forby timschmidt - Michigan RepRap User Group
Assuming I get it running satisfactoryly, sure. That is, right after I print mine!by timschmidt - Michigan RepRap User Group
I should also say that I'm in Grand Rapids.by timschmidt - Michigan RepRap User Group
I've got a repstrap nearly complete. It's a small (6" x 9" x 3" working area) MDF CNC router that I'm controlling with a complete set of Gen2 or 2.5 electronics (Stepper controller v1.2 + Sanguino). It's built, the electronics are built and wired, I've put it through the stepper exerciser successfully, but I'm having some trouble getting the GCode_interpreter firmware working on the Sanguino.by timschmidt - Michigan RepRap User Group
