HI..
About 10 hours before they ststed to show problems in the prints.
Abs would wear faster, plus they would break when you tried to snap them on

As I have a working Prusa and have used the PLA bushing when I first built I found that they worn out very quick, so quick I just printed a new set before the ones in the printer failed.
I now use LM8UU liner bearing I got from china. I use a 3 bearing X carriage desiged by Greg Frost, and LM8UU bearing holder for Y axis I downloaded and printed from thingverse. As for Z I use felt bushing

If you cut the new filement squarly on the end, you can feed it on top of the one abour to run out. just wach the old one and stick it in the hole .
If you are changing colour it give a great effect.

HI..
Well I hate to say but the local supplier hasn't returned my phone calls or e-mail about PLA, not sure why but me think they can't supply.
If you are looking for PLA, I use Vik's great PLA from NZ (http://diamondage.co.nz/pla) I few people use it plus it prints great.
Sadly, we are in Melbourne.

HI...
I would like to try some 1.75 PLA as I made a new hotend with a .35 nozzle. Be interesting to how it runs.
If the filement size doesn't get bigger than 1.95mm it should make for some very nice prints.

HI..
In repsnapper "END" Gcode just check you have a M104 S0 this will trun off the heater once your print has finshed.
If you are using SF40 to slice and dice your STL then make sure you have Turn extruder at shut down, you will find that in craft/preface at the bottom.
