Quotewhen you print a single walled vase you'll see the layers stacking up perfectly. Yes that's what I am about. But! Take your perfect print and change the angle of light and you see unperfect picture similar to your white model wall. I think its about 5-8 microns shift (or maybe layer thinkness inconsistness). I remebered Nophead tested minimum side wall text thickness and you can still see 8by karabas - General
I talk about small random bands not Z-wobbling. You can move to belt driven Z but nothing changes. Print the best vertical wall you are able to print and you will see its not smooth.by karabas - General
I printed on different printers and all of them show random bands on model walls, good seen in reflecting light, but less (or not) noticeble in direct view. I want to minimize post sanding of models. So I wonder what is that possible to low down layer shifting and how low. will stepper encoders like MKS42 help? I print 0.15layer and lower.by karabas - General
Why not klipper??by karabas - Controllers
Any prints to show the real improvments? I think it is close to klipper ideology. But klipper is able to run on raspberry. Your code can be used as a plugin in Cura slicer?by karabas - Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future

QuoteECJ Quotedc42 The attiny processor ADC inputs are OK with any two of high resistance source, high capacitance source, and fast changing input. The datasheet gives the ADC input resistance as 100Mohms typical and a few pF capacitance. Quoteleadinglights Quotekarabas Why don't you use car detonation sensor?? It has resonance peak typically at 15-25khz so all you need is piezogenerator on this frequency. No false triggering anymore I hope. I am not sure what you are suggesting as your post gives too little information but perhaps you can clarify. Is a car detonation sensor a knock sensor? Why would anybody pay £57 for a knockby karabas - General

Has the board 3.3v power enough to feed ESP8266 (512)? I connected my ESP to 3.3v endstop jumper pin. Is it safe for a long run?by karabas - Controllers
Most allmetal hotend problems are due to lack of cooling. Use powerful cooler 0.3-0.5A and no problem. Yes it's noisy.by karabas - General
I have a 400mm diameter big delta. It is able to print the whole case without dividing it into parts. Where I can get STL ?by karabas - Tantillus
Any progress with the problem?by karabas - Delta Machines
There is a BUG in the board. Checked v1.2 v1.3 Affected only those who uses display with cardreader. Both cddetect pins of internal microsdcardreader and external cardreader are connected to one processor pin! And I need to reset the board every time I reinsert flashcard into my display cardreader. So I cutted the microsdcardreader wire, and solved the problem.by karabas - Controllers
There is nothing specific in it. All I did is set center at 0.0 and made a circle stl Program Files\Cura2.1\resources\machines\yourprinter.json Program Files\Cura2.1\resources\meshes\yourbed.stl I do not use 2.1 now because of absence of saving profile in gcode and nonworking support structure.by karabas - Delta Machines
I use cura 2.1 with my delta. No problem. Make you platform and and machine file. And put in corresponding folders.by karabas - Delta Machines

Quoteepicepee karabas: Is that an entire hotend or does it attach to an E3D somehow? Actually it does not matter.
