I have one of these kits and I am telling you the quality is great. Works excellent with auto bed level,by wmtdanimal - For Sale
Those plates are garbage. I had one, ended up going back to a mk2 with a 6mm milled aluminum plate on top. Channel milled in middle of plate so thermistor could go in. Insulated bottom of heatbed and everything works fine. Will go from 19c to 120c in 8 minutes on 12v.by wmtdanimal - Controllers
If your original E0 driver on ramsp died, you can use the spare E1 instead in adv.h. Had to do the same thing with a i2 but with z instead of E.by wmtdanimal - Smart_Rap
Check your movement speed in the auto bed level routine for x,y (i believe it also controls z). I had that problem and the speed was set to 3000. Lower it to something more sane, start very slow like 500 and move from there.by wmtdanimal - Controllers
It will warp i had a 3mm verson. Do not waste your money on one. It is said that you can print directly on the surface, don't try it. Get a good headbed pcb and mount it with insulation on the bottom and glass on top.by wmtdanimal - Controllers
Make sure power is off pull everything off of board and try to connect. Are you using a standard usb cable (5v power from the computer to the sang 1.3)? It is a known issue with the board and can cause problems.by wmtdanimal - Sanguino(lolu)
Yes I have.... It is working flawless with the z connected to e2 however putting the same driver back on the z causes motors to humm and not move at all.by wmtdanimal - RAMPS Electronics
Setting up a ramps 1.4 on a prusa i2. X, Y, E move fine. Using newest marlin. Z however, just sits there and buzzes. First thought it was a problem with the wiring, nope it was correct. Then I looked at the current on the polo... nope no matter what setting it was at still didn't move. So, I went into marlin and went to adv.h and changed the setting to use 2 stepper motors for z.... swappedby wmtdanimal - RAMPS Electronics
When I put together my prusa i2 I had an enormous problem with the y bars being out of plane with the x axis... even though i made a gig and made sure all triangles were the same length. What I came up with is to completely eliminate the y bar clamps on the front of the machine and replace them with zip ties holding the threaded rods and smooth rods together. I then tightened the nuts/washers oby wmtdanimal - General
