Quotetech-raton Yes, mine is -0.03 Your hotend is probing, so the zoffset is minimum. The 0.04 is your flexibility and the displacement to trigger. It can be very small. QuoteDjDemonDYes it can be that small but unless you are planning on a 0.05mm first layer you might as well set it to 0. Thank you, I appreciate the validation.by SpectreGadget - General
I was trying to calculate my new z offset, but I must be doing something wrong. When I try the G30 S-1 command, I get 0.04. Could it really be that small?by SpectreGadget - General
Here's a little video I did of the bad vs. good polarity. Then UBL probing.by SpectreGadget - General
QuoteDjDemonD Thanks for doing the video. Can you try one thing out, can you video pushing (not tapping) upwards, then holding a little pressure on then releasing it? If it triggers as you push up its okay, if it triggers as you release then the piezo disc is reverse polarity. Flip the plug over on the piezo disc. Sometimes you have to retune vr2 then try again. If it's correct polarity then itby SpectreGadget - General
Hello, I've installed my Piezo20 module with a custom mount on my Robo3D R1 and E3D V6 hotend; wired into the Z min (replacing the Robo's stock NC Z limit switches). When sitting idle, I can trigger the piezo. When VR2 is tuned to just below activation, it will trigger immediately on negative z movement. When tuning a little lower sensitivity, it pushed into the bed and does not trigger anywhby SpectreGadget - General
I can't get my PIN 6 to power down. Doesn't matter how I define the pin, it goes high at 22V+ and doesn't change no matter what I do. I originally used it for FAN_1 but could not vary the speed from full, no matter what I tried. I then re-wired and made it the extruder fan and set: #define EXTRUDER_0_AUTO_FAN_PIN 6 #define EXTRUDER_AUTO_FAN_TEMPERATURE 50 #define EXTRUDER_AUTO_FAN_Sby SpectreGadget - Controllers
I've gotten my own variant of RichRap's 3DR running now. I'm in Suwanee.by SpectreGadget - Atlanta, Georgia RepRap User Group
