Oh hey, that's my variant up there! Sorry about that - you called it though; mainly just ignorance on my part. I've at least added the GPL text to my repo and I just now deleted my repo and resubmitted as a fork. Tbh I never intended mine to be anything more than a variant implementing the features I wanted that may or may not be desired by others (like the kind of costly Tmc drivers and lcd boby quixotic120 - Controllers
Hello, I made a variant of the RAMPS-FD and figured I would share it here - kicad files for schematic, board, etc as well as renders, gerbers, and BOM (kicad libraries are on my github as well if you need them) I based it on bobc's most recent revision (I believe that is v2.a?) with the safety changes, eeprom, etc. This is really aimed at my use scenario but I'm sure someone out there can maby quixotic120 - RAMPS Electronics
consider dry film, much better solution IMO: i get it on eBay from china. takes forever to ship but its pretty cheap.by quixotic120 - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
hello for #define PID_PARAMS_PER_EXTRUDER // Uses separate PID parameters for each extruder (useful for mismatched extruders) is it possible to define the pid settings within firmware for e1,2,etc? e.g. is there something along the lines of "DEFAULT_E1Kp" or do you need to run m301 and commit to eeprom after flashing? Oh smart - good call. Thanks!by quixotic120 - RAMPS Electronics
Thanks! That's probably it. Before I throw new drivers in: can I test the old ones somehow and should I be concerned regarding the resistors that are not reading correctly? For the ext 5v would it be sufficient to tap the 12v from the power supply with something like a 7805 and send the emitter to the 5v pin next to reset in lieu of the jumper? I have an nte960 on hand that should be sufficientby quixotic120 - RAMPS Electronics
Hello, I have a ramps 1.4 controlling a prusa i3 variant - worked well for awhile. 12v, dual extruder, heated bed with SSR for PID. I've added a servo for auto bed level and it was working very well but I was getting jitter between movements. I made a small noise trap but apparently had a short in it somewhere - when I plugged it into servo 1 it blew out the arduino's voltage regulator. Poweringby quixotic120 - RAMPS Electronics
