Ok then, how else would I level my bed on my printer? It's the HyperCube printer on Thingiverse, and about 155 people have successfully made this design with it printing. I think it might be something with Cura, since the Initial Layer Height is set to 0.3mm, but if I change it, it makes the extruder work slower resulting in a horrible first layer. That's where I'm stuck, and the prints aren't sby Averybot - Printing
Hello! I just build my HyperCube printer and am having a few problems with the first layer. It has a glass bed and four corner screw adjustments. I leveled the hotend with a piece of paper to make sure it's the correct height away from the glass. When I go to print, it homes, then starts to print. My issue I'm having is the printer seems to lower the bed about 1mm from the hotend. What might be gby Averybot - Printing
Hi! I'm planning on using two power supplies, a 24v for electronics and another 12v for the bed only. Has anyone connected both the main inputs together? I'm wanting to use one switch and power cord for simplicity, so is this safe, or should I go with a independent switch and power cord for each power supply? I've looked around and haven't found an answer to this, since it's probably a simpleby Averybot - Safety & Best Practices
Quotethe_digital_dentist The printer's origin has to be at the left-front or right-rear corner in order to conform to the right hand rule coordinate space used by CAD and slicing software. There is no explicit statement in the firmware declaring which of the two corners you intend to use. The printer's origin is implied by the location of the limit switches and whether you have said that the axby Averybot - Printing
Hello, This is really making me confused, and I still can't figure out why my printer is doing this. It's a cartesian-style printer (modified Solidoodle Press) and it homes with X-max, Y-min, and Z-max. If I'm not mistaken, if the printhead is in the back left corner, it's at X0 Y0, right? That's currently how I have it set up. When it homes, the Y goes to the back (min), X goes to the right (maxby Averybot - Printing
I have found the problem! I wasn't using the RAMBo settings in Arduino. When I set it up, it started working great. Thanks for all your help!by Averybot - Controllers
Thank you. I have rotated both connectors 180°, but now I'm only getting a blank screen: (image) Any thoughts? Here's how I rotated the connectors: (image) I rotated them on the RAMBo because I didn't want to cut the plastic on the screen, but I can do that if needed. Thanks! - Averyby Averybot - Controllers
Hello, I've been using my RAMBo 1.3 for awhile, and also had a RepRapDiscount Smart Controller laying around from a previous printer. I configured my Marlin 1.1-RC8 for the controller, but I'm having an issue. The controller is flashing on and off in seconds with a beeping noise. I ordered the controller from FolgerTech, so it's most-likely not genuine: Any help would be greatly appreciated!by Averybot - Controllers
