Hi all, I have just installed some tmc 2130s and not having much luck. Can someone who has experience give me some feedback on this log file maybe? Right now I am getting no movement but I was originally out of only one axsis. QuoteDust Im going to save myself 2000 words, by posting pictures! NB you need to enable SPI mode on some of these devices... As they come configured in dumb mode as a drop in replacement See for how to set the configuration. QuoteRoger123D what is it you are hoping to accomplish ? 1/256 micro stepping if your printing gold wire with a 0.01 nozzle ? Do you need a new board? What are you, new...? Is that even a complete thought or are you having trouble translating to English maybe? If not and your trying to be smart...., C'mon man, do some research before making yourself look stupid. these driver board panels cost 3.00 ech and it is estimating it to cost 18.33 to make it yourself? So 3) that's 54.99 vs 9.00? Why not just buy 3 of the things for $3 ech and print yourself a really nice panel/box to mount them on/in? Or am I missing something besides the obvious satisfaction of building your own circuit? Hi, I have found some info on this including a few posts here on this forum but I am needing some more specific information from one of the pros out there. The questions I have are specifically regarding the TMC2130s. I have just ordered a couple and I would like to be able to install them on an MKS Base v1.4. However, if I cant use the SPI interfacing then I dont really see the point and mighby S1CAR1US - General
I don't need to repurpose them into SPI because the SPI connections are already broken out at the AUX pins. But that is good to know, because this means I should be able to follow any information describing the process for a SBase board and should be the same except for in firmware. Thank you very much for the response and for the info. Unfortunately this is the wrong board. With the board that you are referencing is very simple straightforward process... Just plug them in as you can see in the pictures you posted. The picture that you posted is a MKS Gen v1.4, the one that I'm asking about is a MKS Base v1.4. both are Atmega 2560 and based on ramps, but the Gen is readby S1CAR1US - Controllers
Hello, My question is pretty straight forward but having trouble finding any solid info anywhere through searching... I have a MKS Base 1.4 with the integrated stepper drivers. I have found reference to being able to use external drivers via the 4 broken out pins directly under the stepper motor plugs on the board but I have only found info for this on the SBASE.... The Base however has the saby S1CAR1US - Controllers
