QuoteMMcLure I measured a 1N5819 at a reverse leakage current of 61uA at 12.5V. Is that really enough of a leakage to be concerned about in this application? I'm wondering because I'm planning to upgrade to a 3.3V board myself. I got it all working now, at around 2v is measured high, your idea will work just fineby unf0rg0tt3n - Controllers
Hi guys, I have a wanhao duplicator I3 prusa, and the only original thing left is kinda the frame and heatbed. I want to extend my build radius to something like 300x300x300mm or even 400x400x400mm. Do you guys know what parts I need for the bed? I only can find headbed parts for 220mm bed. Thanks in common!by unf0rg0tt3n - Mechanics
is that even enough since those small units are like 800mVby unf0rg0tt3n - Controllers
Yes thanks! the Z_min endstop will be replaced with the probe and I need 3.3V on RADDS Thanks for your helpby unf0rg0tt3n - Controllers
QuoteMMcLure Another possibility is to just use a reverse-biased schottky diode like a 1N5817 instead of a divider network. Connect the cathode (striped end) of the diode to the signal wire from the sensor, and the other end of the diode to the microcontroller pin, and turn ENDSTOP_PULLUP_Z_MIN on. When the sensor is not sensing anything, the diode will block the voltage and the pullup will pullby unf0rg0tt3n - Controllers
QuoteDust "What happens if I don't do this step?" The pull up resistance becomes part of the voltage divider ( Arduino Due, it is between 50kΩ and 150kΩ. in parallel from signal to vcc) and the output voltage is wrong. (higher than wanted, worst case 3.4v enough to damage a 3.3v IO line) "But with 10K and 3.3K I get 2.977 volt will that be enough or does it need to be closer?" should be fineby unf0rg0tt3n - Controllers
QuoteDust but make sure you turn off the pull up resistor of your probe pin in firmware. What happens if I don't do this step? QuoteDust use 3.6 kΩ and 9.1 kΩ for 12v to 3.1 volt I don't have these resistors I only have 10K and 3.3K and these: 0 , 1.5 , 4.7 , 10 , 47, 100 , 220 , 330 , 470 , 680, 1k , 2.2k , 3.3k , 4.7k , 10k, 22k , 47k , 100k , 330k , 1M (ohm) But with 10K and 3.3K I get 2.97by unf0rg0tt3n - Controllers
Hi all, I have a question about connecting the inductive sensor (12V) to my RADDS board. Every forum, has other messages because the situation is really different. people also often use RAMPS instead of the RADDS board. when connecting the inductive sensor to my board is it possible for me to wire it: Sensor--------Board 12vdc -------- 12vdc PSU / or board GND -------- GND PSU / or boardby unf0rg0tt3n - Controllers
Hi Guys, I got almost anything up and running but there is one last thing which won't work. The extruder is ticking but it isn't actually extruding. It did work before, hotend is at the right temperature and it is responding to the commands giving (except it isn't extruding) An explanatory video: https://youtu.be/2ER3nTLyvrk My source code: /* This file is part of Repetier-Firmware.by unf0rg0tt3n - Prusa i3 and variants

Quoteo_lampe Do you use one driver for both steppers? Then you have to turn around one of the stepper connectors or switch red/blue wires Do they run on two individual drivers? Then you have to invert the direction of E1 too Hi, Thanks for your reply! Both of the steppers are connected to one stepper driver: Only the wires arent color coated but all black. But they have these marks; Whatby unf0rg0tt3n - Prusa i3 and variants
Hi guys, When using repetier firmware I having a hard time problem solving, but I am getting there. Just fixed my end stopping but; When homing Z to Z min Stepper Z1 and stepper Z2 are spinning towards each other, result is that the right side is going up and left is going down. from the start it wanted to set Z home to the top so I inverted it: #define X_ENABLE_ON 1 #define Y_ENABLE_ON 1 #defby unf0rg0tt3n - Prusa i3 and variants
Quoteo_lampe ZAXIS steps/mm would be 3200 ( 400 x 8 ) Thanks O_lampe! I made these settings final: #define XAXIS_STEPS_PER_MM 640 #define YAXIS_STEPS_PER_MM 640 #define ZAXIS_STEPS_PER_MM 3200 #define EXT0_STEPS_PER_MM 784 //was 98 #define EXT1_STEPS_PER_MM 784 //was 98by unf0rg0tt3n - Prusa i3 and variants
So: #define XAXIS_STEPS_PER_MM 80 #define YAXIS_STEPS_PER_MM 80 #define ZAXIS_STEPS_PER_MM 400 has to be: #define XAXIS_STEPS_PER_MM 640 #define YAXIS_STEPS_PER_MM 640 #define ZAXIS_STEPS_PER_MM 640 ?? And just adjust the Amperage on the ground and the V-Ref on the driver to 1V and ground has to be 1A? That's it? Thanksby unf0rg0tt3n - Prusa i3 and variants
Hi guys, I recently bought RADDS and RAPS128 drivers, also a second extruder. Now I am at the part of installing the reptier firmware. Beffore I break stuff I wanted to know for sure what settings I need to get it up. should the XAXIS_STEPS_PER_MM be 640? Or do i have this all wrong? What about the other microstepping settings? Please help. Thanks in common!by unf0rg0tt3n - Prusa i3 and variants
