Very nice. double the parts in the same amount of time.by hcker2000 - Look what I made!
Thanks for the info. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the 51 oz-in motors they were to good a deal to be passed up. I also talked to the guy who makes the controller I'm going to be using and he said there would be no issue driving them with his controller.by hcker2000 - Developers
I'm working on putting together all the info for a prusa i3 build. I'm wondering if a 51 oz-in stepper would be enough for a wade's extruder or some other reliable extruder? Also any idea if those would work ok for the x,y,z axis motors?by hcker2000 - Developers
Makes sense. It also looks like the front and back where the threded rod is used could be switched to slats of wood with a hole cut in it for the smooth rods and belt to pass threw.by hcker2000 - Reprappers
Nice build. I to am considering doing an prusa i3 based on wood for most of it. Had you given any thought to using wood any place else in your build? For example to replace those corner aluminum pieces?by hcker2000 - Reprappers
Newark area here. I work in columbus though. That z-corp printer looks to be more for designers than engineers (form vs functionality). I'm also going to be starting a reprap build this winter. Probably a pursa i3 or some thing like itby hcker2000 - Ohio, Dayton RepRap User Group
Can any one weigh in on if these are strong enough for a prusa i3? Also will they work with the ramps board just fine? If so I will buy some.by hcker2000 - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
