@ Dc42 - Thanks a lot.. That worked easily. @n8bot - Wonderful. I hope post processing has been done. What is the material? And speed?by selva_tvi - Duet
Thanks for the suggestions. @Dc42 : 1. For the layer height, I tried the following, but didnt work. Please correct me. Hi, I have some questions related to the DUET and DWC. 1. Whenever I am printing any gcode file, in DWC, the total layer is always showing as '20'. I am using slic3r. Even for big files, having more than 200 layers it is showings as printing 'Layer :114 of 20'. Please check the attached file. 2. What is the maximum time printed with a DUET board? Means how many hours of print you can go with aby selva_tvi - Duet
@Bob64, @DC42 - Sorry for late reply. I am using Lead screw with antibacklash nut in the Z-axis. The nut is having pre-adjustment screw to eliminate the backlash. I adjusted and did the sample print. Perfectly came without any issue. Thanks for the suggestions.by selva_tvi - Duet
@ Bob64: I have printed two test cubes. One without pausing. The height was 19.71mm The other was printed with multiple pause and resumes. The final height was 19.96mm. So, the difference is almost 0.25mm. @DC42 - These test prints were printed without any infill and printing with 3 perimeters. I am using DUET 0.6 board with IR sensor (from Replikeo) for bed compensation. Having 6mm Leadscrew wby selva_tvi - Duet
I am using Bowden setup with 400mm length. I have tried this different types of extruder. The same gap appears in all the prints with all type of extruder. Extra feed - Making extruder to extrude more filament or make the Z come to minus value? It looks like when it resumes, the Z is not positioning correctly to the required height.by selva_tvi - Duet
Hi, I am using RepRapFirmware-1.12-dc42. I am trying to use Pause and Resume function. When I am pausing, it is pausing the print and going to the given XY location. Again when I press Resume, it starts the print. But, it is creating gaps in the print. Please see the attached photo. I have attached the Pause and Resume gcode files also. Thanks Selvaby selva_tvi - Duet
Yes sir. But, as I said they are not responding to any mails. I have sent more than 10 mails since 21-June-16. They are not at all replying. Even the same happened two months back when I wanted to buy some boards. They took 2 weeks to respond. But, this time even after 3 weeks there is no response from them.by selva_tvi - Duet
Anybody buying components from Replikeo (DUET 0.6 supplier). I have some issue with their board. I am trying to contact them for last 3 weeks. No reply from their side. Is their website dead? How to rely only on the websites only through online? Even they dont have the phone numbers to contact them. Any help please.by selva_tvi - Duet
Thank you very much. It worked without any issues. And sorry for late reply..by selva_tvi - Duet
Hi, I am using DUET 0.6 board. I am planning to use two 40mm fans for PLA cooling. In the DUET board, only one set of pins are available for PLA cooling. Shall I connect both the fans in parallel (connecting two red wires to +ve and two black wires to -ve). The fan is rated at 0.1A & 12V. When i connect both the fans, will it get the maximum power(at 100% speed) to cool the prints? Thankby selva_tvi - Duet
Hi, I need the help. I am using DUET board with DWC (Using DC-42 1.09X). I am using bowden setup. While printing, I wanted to change the filament for the following conditions: 1. My filament was broken at the middle of the print. 2. I wanted to change the new spool as the previous spool is finished during the middle of the print. 3. I wanted to load different color filament to show as a multi-by selva_tvi - Duet

Any other way to implement the required thing 'When I cancel the print, the temp. should not drop down'?by selva_tvi - Duet
And when I cancel the print, all the heaters are turned off. In the below link , , it shows that when a print is cancelled, 'stop.g' will be executed. But in the new firmware, 1.09x-DC42, I am unable to find the 'stop.g' macro. With previous 1.09 firmware, it was available. The idea is, when the print goes wrong, I will cancel it. But, i dont want the heaters to shut down. It should remain actiby selva_tvi - Duet
Thanks 'chrishamm '. As suggested by PRZ, I added the 'T0; select tool' in the start of G-code, it is working fine now. Earlier I missed this one.by selva_tvi - Duet
Thanks for the reply. 1. Just added 'T0; select tool' in the start of G-code. Now the heater turn to 'Active' when the print starts. 3. Sorry, I missed that 'Cookies' part. Now enabled the cookies and the updated Temperature settings are working fine. Also, regarding the prepare printer before printing, I hope you have created a user macro for that and run the macro when you start the machine.by selva_tvi - Duet
Hi, I am using 1.09x-DC42 Reprap firmware on DUET 0.6 board from Replikeo. Web interface is excellent. All the controllers are working fine. I have some queries: 1. I open the web interface. Upload a Gcode file to the microSD card. I start printing. The web interface, first automatically enables the Bed temperature as 'Active'. After the bed temp. reaches its set point, it does homing and autoby selva_tvi - Duet
Oh.. k.. But it was not looking like excess 4mm of filament. Might have extruded minimum of 10mm filament. It was continuously extruding the filament at one place before I manually press the Pause button. Also, why is the strange behavior of web control? Hi, I am using DUET-0.6 board from Replikeo. I tried to print a file in Spiral vase mode. (Slic3r). I tried to pause the print and wanted to change the filament (another color). After inserting new filament, I resumed the print. But the print head was not moving, also it created a blob in the print. Again I paused and resumed the print. This time it started printing, but instead of circles it crby selva_tvi - Duet
Hi, Have anybody tested this with DUET boards? As the display boards for DUET are very costly, this may be a very cheaper solution. Will it work with DUET boards? Thanks & Regards Selvakumaranby selva_tvi - Controllers
