Quotethevisad Quotedavidf01 Quotethevisad Quotedavidf01 Thanks thevisad, I get no LED light and the fuses seem just fine no indications that they are blown. I have no LED light and can't get a reading from the stepper drivers. Im at a loss here. Not sure what to do. You should get the LED to blink just off of the RAMPS USB connection (power) but you won't get any of the others unless you plug iby tadawson - Delta Machines

QuoteZulance Hey Tad, Can you elaborate on that? I am not familiar with WhinDuhs. I am still new to a lot of this tbh. QuoteJetguy Here is an alternate mod that is WAAAAAY less complex and solves a number of issues. #1 nothing wrong with the original MOSFETS since they are driven with 12V gate drive- they are fully on and into best case RDS on resistance. #2 Yes, inverted logic is annoying but not impossible to deal with. No, you move the data to the new server, decommision the old one, and bring the new one up on the same address . . . severely common procedure, and avoids dns dinking . . . one less thing to screw up, and leaves the old machine powered off (but intact) in case a fallback is needed. I thought the issue was an upgrade, not a relocation . . . simply migrate to the new system, readdress it, and replace the old one . . . this ought to be pretty trivial excersise in data migration, especially if not crippled by WhinDoze . . . no need to change anything in DNS . . . Quoteo_lampe Then I´m in trouble, because my nozzle is the probe. I`m using this effector, which is a clean and easy solution without servo and allen key hack. The 'low hanging fruit' is a 7805 3 terminal regulator. Others are more efficient, but it's hard to beat simple. Three leads - in, 5v out, and ground, so you can even go so far as to put the in and ground in the 12v input connector to the RAMPS, and use a flying lead to feed the 5v where you need it. A bit 'ghetto', but it works (and I put a 100mfd cap output to ground, IIRC, as well). What littlby tadawson - Printing
Nope. You need to set the overall height correctly, and then if you want to prevent travel t onegative Z, enable soft endstops. By definition, the probe *must* be lower than the nozzle in order be able to probe, so Z=0 will push the probe through the bed. And when not probing, it should be retracted to it doesn't snag the print, rendering it useless anyhoo . . . - Timby tadawson - Firmware - mainstream and related support

My extruder ran backwards when build as per the docs, and thus the same problem. Either invert it in Marlin, or flip the extruder motor connector on the RAMPS. Also, beware that while that extruder feeds OK when new, it tears up the grooved bearing rapidly, so have spares (I don't think I ever got past a 1Kg spool without the bearing coming apart). Mine was running backwards when I finished my build. Check that, and if so, either flip the motor connector on the RAMPS, or invert the extruder direction in Marlin. - Timby tadawson - Reprappers
The motor current suggested by Folger for the extruder driver is crack-pipe low. Based on the ratings of tbe motor, set Vref to .85v or so - no more skips, and the motor will run barely warm, and no more feed failures! Also, make sure that your nozzle isn't too close to the bed - that will block flow as well. If this happens when testing in mid air, the it's definitely the drive voltage. - Timby tadawson - Delta Machines
