i like this TL-Smoother i will get a set to test on my small printer first. is some kind voltage filter. thxby magnetos - CoreXY Machines
Ok, so far i got the motor to move with out grinding noise. changed the pot voltage to a .800 and changed the step/mm to a 1557 , no noise up and down. i believe two wire on one z motor where solder in the wrong direction causing to short the other motor plus the low voltage on the drv 8825. Now its time to calibrate the Volcano nozzle. and nozzle height to print. thank you for the help..by magnetos - CoreXY Machines
hello, what setting do you use for a 1.2 nozzle, cura or slicer ??? first time i use volcano nozzle. thank you.by magnetos - Printing
post it info stop. thank you for reply stopby magnetos - CoreXY Machines
thank you Robert, i will test with a 1.395 volt on the drv 8825. i was afraid of fry the drv or the motor. will test later..by magnetos - CoreXY Machines
hi, here the spec i find it about the motors : nema17 bipolar 2a 84 oz 4 wires, i think are in serial connected. Main board Arduino2560 Ramps1.4, step driver dvr 8825 , power supply 12vdc 19amp pc-supply , i replaced from a 5amp to a much stronger power supply z connector - different color check polarity on both motors , try swap in diffrent polarity same problem. z connector -- dvr8825 soby magnetos - CoreXY Machines
hello i am trying to figure out whats wrong with this dual z motor setup, the motor vibrate when at low amp .5 voltage or at .8 voltage . i disconnected the stepper motor from the 8 mm acme screw so the motor are free from any bind and still have the shake after few sec spin. i use a temp power supply of 12 volt 5 amp, i tested with the hot-end on and off same thing. X and Y axis nothing wrongby magnetos - CoreXY Machines
hold on , i am lost . i set the distance from the extruder to the sensor x and y. where i am looking at for the z offset in the config.h ?? BTW :thank you for the help.by magnetos - Firmware - Marlin
Hi, as right now I have the sensor set to autolevel. What now , I already set the sensor offset in the Marlin firmware. The g code to auto level is g29. Now after autolevel, how do adjust the z axis if the extruder is not close enough. What code do I add at beginning and at end of a gcode???by magnetos - Firmware - Marlin
Hi, I finally installed auto inductive sensor 4mm or 8mm , can't remember now. We'll now what, how do make my 3d printer do a auto leveI before print somenthing, how do adjust the nozzle if it's to close or to high after the auto level?? One thing on the new firmware, I try it the manual level mode , I was able to setup the nozzle , around the bed but like I ask above don't know how to saveby magnetos - Firmware - Marlin
ok, update firmware to 1.1.0.1 and works it. i try the old version rc 5 and rc 7 and work too. here my mistake i did. my sensor its npn no 6v-36v and a ramps 1.4 board. first mix up firmware board from 13efb to 14efb powering the sensor with a separate power supply. i use a 1n4001 diode to send signal to the arduino, the resistor didn't not work , i use the wrong K-hom my reading was 3.9v hby magnetos - Firmware - Marlin
ok , i am back on. lcd works. i setup the wrong board on config.h i setup ramp_14EFB , i also setup the pin z_probe_pin to 18 pin18 its the z_min_pin do i need to disable the z_min_pin or not. the z axis works when i press home but if i hit home all axis the X Y axis reset to 0 and then moves to center plate and z axis goes down with out stopping. one more thing after the 2 and 3 tiby magnetos - Firmware - Marlin
ok, sorry for the mix up firmware with rc5 to rc 7, i post the wrong version of config. the lcd screen its went blank, light up, wont show anything , i can move the axis with repetier-host, i press home-z and ther axis goes up and then down but it won't stop when i trigger with a metal plate to stop it. hi Obewan, sorry i forgot , its a ramps1.4 i use pololu 8825 driver and inductive sensor its a LJ12A3-4-Z/BX 6-36v NPN , use two resistor to 10k 20k to lower voltage to 5v signal from sensor connected to the z_min (S+) of the Ramps1.4 sensor works when i get a peace metal close and voltage change from low to high 5v. do i need to turn all on the pullup resistor ?? the greeby magnetos - Firmware - Marlin
hello , i just finished my 3d printer MPCNC version and since i have a large hot bed i need it a sensor to auto level the platform. well i can't figure out what i am doing wrong with Marlin firmware. try different version with same problem. i use repetier-host and on command M119 i see : probe plug it to S+ of Z_min x_min y_min Triggered at home position z_min triggered z probe openby magnetos - Firmware - Marlin
Hi, I just got a lj12a3-4-z/bx NO Did you make your sensor work with ramps 1.4 ? I try to power up the sensor with 12vdc and use the 15k + 10k resistor. When I triggered the sensor I read 0.692v on black wire. What setting did you use to make work. Thx for any info.by magnetos - RAMPS Electronics
hi, i have a arduino-uno g-shield v.3 GBRL with 3 dvr8825 driver max voltage 36 vdc and i like to use on a cnc router that a made from a blue print that i got from buildyourcnc , i have 4 unipolar stepper motor that i use for a cnc foam cutter and i like to use on this new router cnc but i am lost on setup the right voltage for the driver "vref" . stepper motor info: nema 23 kp56lm2-097 1.2by magnetos - CNC Routers, Mills, and Hybrid RepRapping

hi , i just try to test the new marlin firmware and i end up screw two arduino board with two sets of ramps and driver. since i tested , i see the 3 axis blink with this ?, as you can see the image . i try to go back to old version of marlin and same think now on both board mega2560/ramps1.4 before the update all ok, now i can get to stop blinking. i can move axis with no problem end stop woby magnetos - RAMPS Electronics

hi i am trying to print with HIps filament, well i got some print done at 235 nozzle temp and bed at 55, using blue tape , school glue liquid and stick version. on 5 out of 2 i get a complete print with out peel out from the hotbed. my 3d printer its a I3 prusa style , they called Aworldnet a600. what's the best setup to print with HIPS filament, i try it to print at 240 nozzle temp and bby magnetos - Printing

hi , just decide to use a ramp 1.4 with a A600 Aworldnet 3d printer , is like a mendel style . i use marlin 1.0.2 for now not sure if is good or not yet. well my problem is on axis movement i can't move the axis right way and i can't get it to go at max distance , the axis stop at middle of the plate and on repitier screen say 200mm when is actually at center of the bed (x and Y) axis Z i caby magnetos - General
